"These's guys rock! Me and my family was on vacation and came home to a disaster. Our water pipe at our water heater busted and flooded. We called rooter pro plumbing ga at 10pm at night and they were there in 40 minutes. They fixed the issues and had a team out to clean up and deal with our insurance. We recommend them over anyone."

"I recently bought a 3-year-old previously owned home. One shower and one tub were draining very slowly. After several days of trying to speed things up with drain openers, it became clear that I needed a professional. I unexpectedly got a day off from work and began calling plumbing companies. They were all booked up, but kept referring me to other plumbers (thank you!). Wendell from Drain-O-Might ended up coming out. He cleared both drains quickly at a very fair price. That is awesome enough, but Wendell was a super guy. He talked to me about everything he was doing, taught me a few tricks, and even walked around my unfinished basement and the outside of the house telling me what was done well and things that would eventually need some attention. Taking the extra time to educate your customers is going above and beyond. Hire this guy! He will do the job right at a fair price and treat you well to boot! Thank you, Wendell!"

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, frozen pipes can cause a toilet to stop working correctly. If the pipes are frozen, water cannot flow, which can lead to two main problems. First, the supply line to the toilet tank may be frozen, which prevents the tank from refilling with water after you flush. Second, the drain pipe itself can freeze, blocking water from flushing away. As a temporary solution for a non-refilling tank, you can manually add water, but this is not a long-term fix. To clear a frozen drain pipe, you can try pouring warm water into the toilet bowl or tank and then flushing, as the warm water may help thaw the ice blockage. Ultimately, the best course of action is to unfreeze the affected pipes to restore your toilet to full functionality.

Although linear drains allow water to flow quickly and efficiently, they tend to clog more easily than traditional drains. Linear drains are flush with the shower floor, allowing soap scum and hair to potentially build up. They’re also longer than other drains, allowing for more space to let debris fall into the drainpipe.

It’s sometimes difficult to distinguish a clog from a frozen drainpipe since ice technically causes a clog. If the temperature doesn’t tip you off, there are a few additional signs that your pipe is frozen. Look for condensation and frost around the pipes. Ice in pipes can cause a banging or clanking noise as opposed to a clog from a softer material.

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.

Baking soda and vinegar aren’t just great for making a volcano for your kid’s science project. You can also pour this dynamic duo down your shower drain to dissolve hair clogs. If that doesn’t do the trick, you can step it up with a commercial liquid drain cleaner.
