"Workers were on time, cordial and professional. Work was completed in the time and as stated. Premises were left clean. Though all was to moved, workers detached and moved a shelf that was on a wall they needed to work on. Also, I had been told that steps they had to move would not be replaced, but they were kind enough to put some part of them back so that I can get into the basement before they are replaced permanently. Options were explained for preventing water from entering a door that had a sunken area outside. Any questions I had were willingly answered. It was a pleasant experience."
"We had issues with water leaking into the basement after heavy rainfall and called SunDry to give us a quote for water proofing. The job was completed and two days later it rained and our basement flooded... the sales rep, Mario, came back out and said they didnt make the flange tall enough in one corner, so the contractors came back and fixed it and it was covered under the warranty. Why they didnt do it right the first time I am not sure. Everyone considering using this company must be careful of Mario. He is a classic salesman ready to tell you exactly what you need to hear to make a sale, so be VERY careful trusting everything he is telling you. He walked around our house and pointed at random cracks and splits and said we needed foundation piers or our house is going to sink. He quoted us $5600 for the job and said it would save us money if we did it during waterproofing. We called a foundation engineer for a second opinion and were told our house was perfectly fine and in no need for foundation piers. Also be wary of the cost for put back of the dry wall/studs/finishings after the waterproofing. Sundry does not do this part of the job and will tell you it will only cost a few hundred bucks...it is not. We got a quote for $1100 from the guy that Mario referred and the price didnt even include putting the laminate flooring back. Mario was calling us every week when we first got the quote to schedule the job, but as soon as we needed something from him (to connect us with the guy for put back), he was very unresponsive and didnt stick to his estimated time frames. Marios contractors also left a mess of our basement with cement and dirt stains on our intact flooring. Other than that, the contractors did a great and speedy job and were very kind and professional. All in all, I would recommend them for their pricing is the cheapest of all other vendors we spoke to and they were very quick. I can only hope that they stay around long enough and that our warranty will always cover future leaks/issues."
"The service we received from Sundry Waterproofing was top notch. The salesperson, Jhonatan, provided detailed information about the process which was very helpful. Jack, the foreman, along with his team executed the plans for our basement waterproofing with precision and care. The team completed the work on time.
Overall, our interaction with the team was pleasant and professional."
"Great all around experience with CDG with waterproofing our basement. The communication was very good. Rosa and Johnny answered all of our questions with great explanations and no pressure to make any decisions. Johnny and his team showed up on time, worked extremely hard and cleaned up after the job. It was hard to tell they had even been there. Everyone we dealt with, including the crew, was professional from the initial meeting to project completion. Very pleased!"

Review for Vasquez Waterproofing
Vasquez Waterproofing did an outstanding job installing a French drain in both my front and back yards, and they also tackled some pretty extensive water damage around my front bay window. Not only was the quality of work excellent, but the entire project was completed in just two days — super efficient.
Big shoutout to Jack for his excellent communication throughout the process. Everything was explained clearly, timelines were kept, and the worksite was left clean.
I’d absolutely recommend Vasquez Waterproofing for any drainage or water damage projects. In fact, I’m already in talks with them about another job. Solid team, great results."
"From reaching out to Angiâ s List regarding my basement flooding, to receiving four credible businesses for me to pick from, to selecting Aquaguard. The entire process was transparent (walk through, analysis, quote, to the actual crew. I recommend Aquaguard to anyone experiencing a leak or just want to proof your home before you complete your basement. This is your one stop shop!!!"
"The guy who preformed the service was amazing. It was frigid in our basement because we hadn't had heat for 2-3 days and it was during the horrible snow storm here in Atlanta, and he worked quick and efficient and never complained once about how cold it was down where he was working. He even took a look at our attic vents while he was here and adjusted them to help with airflow upstairs. I would highly recommend Moncrief and will be using them again!"
Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts
Proper drainage prevents water damage, mold growth, and foundation settling, protecting your home’s structural integrity.
The least expensive basement waterproofing methods include grading soil away from your home, installing downspout extenders on your gutter system, and applying a waterproof paint on the interior of the foundation walls. Installing a French drain is a relatively inexpensive method if you do the work yourself, although it’s labor-intensive and can be challenging to install properly.
There are several small, inexpensive upgrades you can make to upgrade your basement. Although you still need to adhere to building codes and obtain permits when necessary, you can complete small but mighty tasks like painting the masonry walls and installing entertainment devices to make the space more usable.
Yes, barndominiums can have basements. Barndominiums are typically built over concrete slabs, so barndo basements are not very common. However, it is possible to include a basement in a barndominium blueprint as long as you’re building completely from scratch. Barndos can have the same types of basements as traditional homes, including full or walk-out basements.
In most cases, it is safe to live in a home with minor foundation problems, but you should not let the issues persist. Virtually all foundations have small cracks from normal settlement, which are not a structural concern but should be sealed to prevent water intrusion. However, major damage—such as large structural cracks, sinking foundations, or bulging walls—can make a home unsafe. Other issues that can pose safety and health risks include poor indoor air quality from mold or pests, uneven floors, and rotten beams or joists. It is always best to have a foundation repair expert or structural engineer inspect any issues to determine if your home is safe to live in.
