"My wife and I purchased a 1987 home with a horrible floor plan and a kitchen that would require a complete tear-out. The kitchen walls were angled with jogs, drop ceiling and loose floor tiles. We knew that walls and drop ceiling had to be removed making the lanai part of the main living area. After much research, we contacted S&W Kitchens of Tampa and met with Lacie Rice. Lacie was a delight to work with. She was knowledgeable about the process and very attentive to our needs. Her ideas and design expertise created an awesome floor plan and a fabulous kitchen. Joe was a perfectionist with the installation of our beautiful kitchen cabinets topped with crown moldings. A large island was created with a space for a beverage fridge that my wife and Lacie talked me into, and they were right :). Daniel Neris of S&W Kitchens oversaw the contractors during construction and both Lacie and Daniel went above and beyond to ensure the workmanship met the high quality standards promised by S&W Kitchens. "My story is long so please bear with me. My husband broke his hip and ended up having surgery and going to rehabilitation. Our bathroom was not properly equipped to accommodate his needs. I had 7 contractors come to my home and provide estimates to retrofit the master bathroom. To say that their estimates were over the moon is putting it mildly. The owner of Next level Shower and Bath was one of the last contractors to provide an estimate. He arrived on time, was extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring. He and I clicked right away. He totally understood what was needed and provided me with many suggestions. I was so impressed with his knowledge of what was needed to make our bathroom usable and comfortable for my husband who prior to the hip surgery, was using a walker and now using a wheelchair. His crew were top notch. They worked very hard and produced quality workmanship. Tim was on site everyday and constantly checking in to make sure he and his team were exceeding expectations. "Work was drawn out due to our vacation and several unexpected out-of-state funerals. Communication with CGC office staff was 2.5 (on 5 point scale). A payment schedule - when and how much - should have been explained in advance. The work: removed steel bathtub and tile surround, plumbing relocated, new cement board, fancy tile, new plumbing fixtures and glass shower doors installed. Wallpapered dining room walls had light plaster coat first applied to smooth out existing orange peel texture. Excellent attention to pattern matching. Paper waste was minimized."

The main difference between a closet and a wardrobe is that a closet is a separate room for general storage with its own door, and a wardrobe can be either built-in or freestanding place to store clothing. You may need a building permit to add a closet, depending on the size and kind of work required to install it.
