"Excellent service and high quality workmanship by Rick. He torn down my collapsed garage ceiling and replaced the drywall using screws tape mud to fill and 1/2 drywall. 5/8 if you request. Sanded and painted. What a difference! Easy to work with and his estimates are fair and highly competitive."

"I had received several proposals and designs, but I chose Inspired Closets because they provided me with the best overall design and value. The quality of their materials are also better than what the other companies were offering at a higher price. I absolutely love the two closets they designed and installed in the Main Bedroom, as well as the cabinets and butcher block countertop they installed in the laundry room. Craig was super helpful with designing the closets and cabinets to ensure I got the most storage capacity that I needed, and still stay within my budget. The installation team that came was very professional and efficient, and cleaned up everything (including wall paint touchups) before they left."

Closets questions, answered by experts

When storing your clothes long-term, first consider the container's breathability. While plastic bags, cardboard boxes, or vacuum sealing may be great options for short-term storage, they won’t help your clothes hold up in the long term. Breathable plastic boxes and fabric bags help with airflow, prevent mold or mildew from building up, and allow proper airflow.

Costs range from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on size, materials, and design complexity.

You can design your own closet, but it’s usually better to hire a professional to do the work for you. Not only will you get years of design experience to guide you toward the right layout and material choices, but you’ll also only pay slightly more hiring a professional than you would creating your own plans and hiring a carpenter. A high-quality closet designer can provide insight into how to lay out your closet, and they may be able to find you a good deal on the carpentry or complete the work using an affordable, in-house team.

A foyer or entryway is typically a formal landing area for guests, located at the primary entrance of a home. It is often more formally decorated and connects directly to the main living space. In contrast, a mudroom is a more casual, utilitarian room, usually leading in from a secondary entrance like a garage or the side or rear of the house. It serves as a space for residents to remove shoes and outerwear to keep mud, dirt, and water out of the main home.

Bedrooms and living rooms generally cost the least to remodel. Of course, the project price will depend on what you're planning to do to the space and the cost of the materials you choose to incorporate. Prices are typically lower than those of other remodels because major plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work isn't often part of remodeling these rooms.
