"When we bought our new home, we knew we had to refinish the hardwood flooring because it had some visible wear and tear. The first contractor who was recommended to us said it was not possible because the flooring is the hand scraped type wood which is impossible to sand due to the uneven characteristics of the wood, and he suggested we replace it with laminate. We decided to get a second opinion. I got on Home Advisor and Alex responded immediately. The next day he came over to inspect the job and based on his analysis of a piece of the wood, he convinced us there was enough thickness in the surface of the wood to sand. We hired Alex and he did a fantastic job! He is knowledgeable and very hardworking and he completed the work in the time frame he gave us. He is professional and has good customer service skills.
