Our experience with Floor Coverings International exceeded expectations. Veteran-owned/operated, Floor Coverings dispatched a sales representative to our place on a Sunday morning. The rep, a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, was friendly & cheerful, quick to size up our needs. Rather than invite us to their store, they brought the store for us. The Chief presented pictures and brought in samples from his van, parked just out front. This customer focus ensured that there were no oversights or misunderstandings. Scarcely a week later, a team of subcontracted, professional installers: -- arrived on time (a few minutes early, actually); -- lifted/moved the heavy items from the rooms to be carpeted; -- removed the old carpeting/padding and took it away; -- installed the new carpets & padding precisely and without error; -- moved the heavy items back into the newly-carpeted rooms; -- cleaned up all residue, and were on their way. They did the job promptly, efficiently

I browsed on Thumbtack for the first time to locate someone to do the flooring project. I read the reviews and Josiah messaged me right back to discuss the process and had Crystal call to set up the in-home consultation. I was pleased and ready to start. Josiah was honest about the product I selected once the shipment came in advising that it may not be what I expected. We chose another option and it turned out perfect. There were a few hiccups with an installer (that is no longer with them) but Josiah & Crystal made sure that everything was corrected and taken care of until we were satisfied. They went above and beyond what any other company I have ever dealt with has done. Highly recommended! The floor is beautiful.
