"I bought a long-time sealer and watched as they put a lesser 6 month sealer on. I asked if they were ever going to tell me of this lesser sealer and rebate some of my money. They cut the wrong size whole in the wrong place for the sink but corrected that within the day. After about a month the sink fell out onto the floor. They fixed the sink but I had to once again pay a plumber for the broken pipes under the sink. The sink was placed back in place but wooden legs appeared to be holding up the sink. No comments about this from the company. After a large noise about their service they then told me I could remove the wooden legs. Poor service, poor workmanship, I refused to pay for the second plumber charge and they told me they would sue me.....Never again."

"Mark Warfel Construction was hired to perform $40k+ of services to restore my home after major water damage due to broken upstairs waterline. In addition I also contracted Mark Warfel to renovate an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs bathroom. Construction services necessary to perform the work required drywall installation, painting, vinyl plank and tile flooring installation, crown molding installation, interior and exterior door replacement, window treatment installation, light fixture installation. The drywall, crown molding, painting, tub and toilet replacement, upstairs tub tile surround, vinyl plank flooring effort, window treatment, and light fixture installations were completed satisfactorially. The door installations are okay except that we are still having difficulty with opertion of door handle and deadbolt locks on two of the three doors. We are dissatisfied with the floortile installation in the upstairs bathroom, the floor flexes and grout is cracking. Our biggest issues are associated with the shower work performed in our downstairs bathroom. The shower floor tile job does not allow for water to drain properly. The shower wall tile job is poorly done. Tile gaps are not even, surface across tiles is wavy/lumpy and grout color is not consistent. There was a leak discovered in the plumbing behind the shower valve that required Mark Warfel to go back into the wall after initial effort and replace a defective fitting. This also caused a wet drywall issue in the adjacent room which he repaired. It was subsequently discovered that the shower is still leaking somewhere and flooding the living room floor if the shower is left on for a long period of time. The living room vinyl flooring seams show evidence of mold/mildew where the shower water got under it and we are avoiding use of shower until measures are taken to isolate and repair the leak. Mark Warfel has left the job in this state and is not responding to email or phone calls. I believe my next step is to hire another contractor to resolve this issue and attempt to recover what I spend from Mark Warfel. For this reason I am giving reviews of "Lousy" in the categories of Quality, Responsiveness, Professionalism, and Overall."
