"Jesse was hired by a contractor doing work at our remodel project and cleaned up a mess promptly when called. Subsequently I asked him to clean up a some debris from a re- gutter project and he took care of it the same day at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!"

"You William responded promptly to my initial inquiry and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. Unusually cold Florida weather required a brief postponement, but he was proactive in providing updates and rescheduling. The siding now looks clean and refreshed, and the overall experience was smooth and professional. I would confidently recommend William to anyone looking for dependable exterior cleaning services."

"I was looking for someone to clean my roof of leaves and sticks. I was immediately contacted by Brent Tillman and he and his wife Rosa were able to come immediately and look at the project. They told me about the softwash services, but were not pushy. They also gave me a price for cleaning the roof and trimming some branches. We scheduled a time and they were prompt and very professional. All the branches were cleaned. My gutters were thoroughly cleared. I highly recommend Tillman soft wash for your roof cleaning needs!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Cash is typically preferred for a tip, especially for smaller companies and housecleaners, but many now accept check, credit, or payments through Venmo and Apply Pay. If you’re unsure, check with your cleaning company prior to their first visit in case you need to make a quick trip to the bank.

No, you cannot clean your hot tub filters in the dishwasher. While it may seem like a good idea, the dishwasher soap isn’t gentle enough for hot tub filters and can damage them. Gentle cleaning is better when cleaning the hot tub filters and keeping them intact.

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.

Clutter and disorganization can make even a clean house seem dirty. Decluttering unused items will make your home seem cleaner, and putting storage solutions into place will give a house a more organized look and feel. Other things that can make a house feel dirty include stained or faded carpets and upholstery, dirty or dingy walls, chipped paint, and disorganized shelves.

The best cleaner to remove soot depends on the surface material and the type of fire, but consider dish soaps or degreasers, baking soda, rubbing alcohol, and hydrogen. Low-oxygen fires often leave behind greasy soot, which is best removed with dish soaps or degreasers. Baking soda can be useful for absorbing soot deposits from carpets, followed by rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean the set-in stains.
