My name is Ed Contreras I am a spa lover especially Jacuzzi, I know the benefits of hydro therapy, and have been a fan of Jacuzzis for more than 20 years. I used to own a big nice Jacuzzi for 9 years until it was time to change. I was considering many options including building a pool and spa but honestly I did not want to invest too much. Then, I meet Joseph Zakrzewski at Rec Pool and Spa in Broward, he as good salesman he start with the regular sales speech, however, after I explained my needs and experience he start looking for the best fit for me for the price I was willing to pay and the quality I want. After he explained and show me different options I left the store saying I need to see other options which I did, but anytime I find something I thought it was better Joseph explain why it wasnâ  t by text, cell, whatsup you name it, the friendly guy became a friend giving advice. Until I made the final decision and he basically pick the spa for my needs which I love it, few weeks later the sounds system has a small issue and have to deal with the store manager Mike and the technicians to correct the small issue and they went overboard, that is why they got 5 starts from me because their excellent sales advisor, competitive price and quality, outstanding customer service and technician and friendly familiar environment I definitely recommend this team and in 10 years I definitely will be back to change my Jacuzzi! Great service. Followed through with everything they said they would and more.

It started out as good experience with Richard being our sales man. He said that he would be there with through the whole experience and would to make sure our pool was setup correctly and we knew what to put in the water after the install. We thought that was great because we did not know anything about pools and this was a big investment for us. We told him we had well water at the time of purchase and he said all we would need was Metal Out, to remove the minerals. We trusted him and we bought the pool. We got the upgraded pool with resin and aluminum so it would not rust, due to us getting the saltwater upgrade for the pump. The pool we saw in the show room was nice and had cup holders around the pool, which we talked about being a cool feature. He through in a few things for us and made us feel great. Then we talked about installation, and was told the installers will call us to setup a date. The installers call to setup a day and time and I have to say it s on there time schedule not yours. I took a morning off work to be there for the install. I feel like they could have worked with me a little more. The installers did a great job setting up the pool. I have to say the guy and his crew came out and had it up in about 3.5 hours and we got the 18ft round, 54in deep model. I wish they would have setup the steps because that was a total pain and someone the no experience would NEVER be able to do it alone. I m handy and it was very difficult. $800 is a lot of money to setup a pool and plum a pump- I m my opinion. Not mention they leave the trash with u, some went in the trash can some didn t. The biggest thing that pisses me off was that the pool we ordered had cup holders and the one we got did not. I don t know if they sent a cheaper model and charged for a more expensive one, idk?? (Like a bait and switch) But when I asked Richard the next day, when I realized it, there was no response... someone that was pretty quick to respond went quiet.. and I haven t heard from him since.. In fact, Ive never heard from him after he sold us the pool. So for the follow up, check-up, and setup help there was none.. it s been 3 weeks since the pool was installed and the water still isnt right.. we still have not be able to swim and enjoy the pool. So, I do like the pool, even tho it s not the right one or what we paid for, and would recommend the DoughBoy pool.. and the installers... just not Richard and maybe a different place- I m honestly not sure. I won t be going back. Don t lie and be a that kind of sales person, it s not necessary. I wouldnt tell my friends or family to go there. Just being totally honest. And I want my damn cup holders, haha.(seriously tho)

Ok, so its been a year and its about time I write a review and I will keep it short. I bought the spa from Rec Spa and Pool at a home show. My wife wanted a spa for many years and now it was her anniversary. I let her pick it out and negotiate it, and of course, she went top of the line. They treated her great and she was so excited. They made the purchase easy with no problems and easy payment terms. Their installation people were great, as was their recommended electricians (more like outstanding). Great purchase and the owner Mike Hanson and his right hand man Ed, are great to deal with. So now a year later... I have had a couple of minor and one major problem with the spa. Their service was always impeccable and was usually completed within a few days. No arguments, just fixed (parts replaced) in a timely manner. Nego, the service tech is tops in my book. So take it from me, these guys are great and both my family and my neighbors love the spa.

Mike was awesome and very accommodating to our needs.

From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with friendly staff, and Mike which was our salesperson was just wonderful. He answered all our questions, showed us all the pools, and had all the knowledge that had to do with above ground pools! Will definitely recommend this place to anyone.
