"I needed a new kitchen sink drain so I requested a quote from M&P. Miguel contacted me within a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon and said he had a cancellation for the next morning and could stop by and install a new drain for $175. Miguel kept in contact via text, arrived on time the next morning, and installed the new drain quickly and perfectly. He's friendly, efficient, and appreciative. Also, he's a general purpose handyman, so the next time I need anything done he's the one I'll call. Great experience, I recommend him very highly."

Small jobs welcome

"Angelo arrived promptly, was courteous, professional and fast. They fixed a water stained ceiling with Kilz and also installed various curtain rods and other wall hangings. They actually completed way more things on my “honey do” list than i expected and I was delighted. The price was great, they were fast and cleaned up afterwards. Good people, highly recommend."

"Alex spackled, painted and installed a backsplash and molding in our bathroom. He did a very good job. He came when he said he would, completed the work in a timely manner, was courteous and professional. I recommend Alex."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Professionals can provide alternatives, like using stands or no-drill mounts where applicable.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.

Yes, they assess space and TV size to recommend appropriate mounting solutions.

Finding a professional to mount your television to the wall is a little challenging because no licenses exist for this type of work. You could ask friends or neighbors for recommendations. Check out online reviews, too. Typically, though, almost any local handyman can do the work. A local electronics store or the place where you bought the TV may have a recommendation for you. A local framer or drywall installer might do the work for you as well. If you need an outlet installed for the new TV, an electrician may do both items for you.

If you want to enjoy your favorite movies from the comfort of your backyard or patio, you can mount a TV outside. You’ll want to be thoughtful about its location, ensuring it’s away from water and heat, like a grill or pool. Placing it under a roof, awning, or gazebo is usually a good idea as well for extra protection. Outdoor wiring does add an extra layer of complications with this project, so it may be worth it to hire an electrician to help.
