"This is a follow up to my prior review of Alpha Foundations. After reading my initial review, Alex (The General Manager) conctacted me to chat about my experience. I left the conversation with a better understanding of the initial inspection process and thoroughly impressed with the overall customer service of everyone I came into contact with at Alpha. From the sales team, field techs and management, my customer service experience was top notch. It's obvious to me that customer service and satisfaction is at the top of their priority list and it resonates througout the organization. Although I experienced a very minor issue with the initial diagnosis of the problems my property was having, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future and would recommend them to friends and family."

"Simply put, God awful. Paid $ 1,100 and could have gone to Home Depot and for less than $ 400 did the same work. Clearly, I was not going to pay the second half of $ 1,100 for a total of $ 2,200. Cracks were not filled and when I asked about the unprofessional job Juan responded, and I paraphrase "We don't really do "Asphalt" driveways." My thought was you should have been upfront with me and not scammed me!!!"

"BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT do business with Eagle Concrete Corp, Louis Machado, and his family operated business. After working with them for 6 months, they decided to walk off our project b/c they realized they weren’t qualified to do the work, but only after they poured our driveway. We contracted with Eagle Concrete to rip out and install a black concrete driveway with a stamped design, which was discussed at length prior to signing the contract, including pics and videos of what we wanted. We were assured by Louis, multiple times, they could do it. After four months of waiting for our permit, due to several clerical errors by Eagle Concrete, the day finally came to pour. I noticed immediately the concrete was not black and stopped the work. Turns out Louis never ordered our color. He even tried to cover this up by calling me the night before to tell me the shade might be off due to the mixture, but that would be fixed by tinting the sealer. He tried to use the color slate in place of the ultra-black we had selected. Now they had to demo the driveway again and order the correct color, costing us 2 more wks. When they finally poured, they messed up the design so badly that the entire driveway had to be demo’d again. Louis did not communicate or coordinate with his crews about the design. They didn’t even have the correct tools and began to modify the ones they had in an attempt to make them work. At one point, Louis told me they’d fix the errors by “grinding” the design into the driveway, which isn’t even possible. They also failed to measure properly, so as the design was cut in, our squares eventually turned into diamonds. They failed to protect the newly poured sidewalk, so the black concrete ruined it. They failed to protect our newly painted garage door, which was splattered with concrete, ruining the paint, and now has to be repainted. The next morning, Louis had his crew demo a portion of our driveway b/c of how messed up it was, leaving us with an inaccessible driveway and a safety hazard. We didn’t hear from Louis again except to tell us his parents pulled him off our project. After pleading with Eagle Concrete for a week to finish what they started, they chose to walk off the job, stating they no longer had the qualified manpower for the work. They offered a full refund in exchange for our silence (see pic). We had to start the process all over again with a new contractor, and quickly found out prices had increased significantly since we originally contracted with Eagle Concrete. We were left with no choice but to sue Eagle Concrete, who’s still holding our $13k+ in payments."

"Although we did reach a resolution for $100: Met, Hired George 10/01/24. I Provided house Survey. Deposit $2625 charged 10/30/24. Asked if job could be done before Oct 11th. Said he'll get on job right away. Will be at City Hall tomorrow. It is now END OF JAN 2025, I go to city, get truth. Oct 16th permit review application submit, Janis, $50. Oct 17th Engineering & Zoning reject, missing Impervious Drainage Calculations, ROW Permit & max. width driveway can't exceed 30% of lot & confirm double driveway will not exceed 18ft. Oct 24th by email George is notified of rejection, needs corrections. Nov 12th, George submits corrections to Manny, reviewer. (WAITS till Dec 10th for Zoning corrections to Andrea.) WHY HE WAIT A MONTH? WHY WAS I NOT UPDATED? WHY WAS I NOT TOLD it's $1k more to hire ENGINEER from beginning. HE'S GOT 25 YRS EXPERIENCE, kept telling me. Nov 13th Engineering & Zoning rejected again. (WHY? HE PROVIDED CORRECTIONS,11/12) Nov 15th George is emailed, 2nd rejection Marilane emailed. Dec 10th George provides city new corrections. Dec 11th Rejected AGAIN. Description of Work: Dec 13th George is emailed of 3rd rejected documents, including 2nd permit ending in #2053 for ROW, (right of way). FINALLY ON JAN 22ND I canceled EVERYTHING. GEORGE IS A CON MAN. HE CHARGED ME $1125 FOR WHAT. HE'S A RIP OFF. HE DOES NOT TELL THE TRUTH. DOES NOT COMMUNICATE. To make matters worse, he would exaggerate, I BEEN TO CITY 20X, 2dz times. I called u every time I went to city. I HAVE CALL LOGS. YET CITY SAID HE WAS THERE 3X, rest was by emails. HE'D SAY. City is giving me a hard time. They want more requirements than other cities. BUT HE SAYS I did a house in Plantation, Engineer was $2500, yours should be $1000. I tried to save you money, I said how Does THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE. 1st you say will be less than Plantation home, now you say you didn't tell me Nov 12th to save monies, WHAT. HE'S NOT RELIABLE. 25 YEARS EXPERIENCE YET APPLICATION WAS REJECTED 3 TIMES. FOR SURE HE IS NOT RECOMMENDED."
