"One other contractor not associated with Angi quoted $1500 for removal of 3 trees...$500/tree. Casseaux fee is based on how many truck loads of debris is removed...average cost per tree for my job was about $125 per tree...No Brainer! Based on that fee structure I was able to afford clearing the 3 struck by lightning, several with canker disease and several leaners and spindly ones. 5 stars are not enough for the quality and speed of work and high quality of service. All debris raked up after each tree felled. Lawn was free of any sticks and debris for mowing. Lawn was not torn up with use of track loader. CASSEAUX service and price exceeded expectation. You may have to be patient to wait on scheduling based on their work requests, but it will be well worth getting in line on their schedule."

"Affordable tree service did an outstanding job trimming several trees in our yard last week. Their estimate was very fair, they arrived early (unheard of!), and cleaned-up thoroughly afterward. While they were there I asked them to do a number of additional limbs, which they did at reasonable additional cost. Very professional and I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

There are several signs that may indicate a tree needs to be cut down. These include visible damage to the trunk or branches, a hollow trunk, extensive storm damage, or a significant lean to one side. Other warning signs are pest infestations or the tree growing too close to a house, power lines, or other structures. It is best to hire a professional arborist to inspect the tree, as they can determine if it can be saved or if removal is necessary.

No. Topping a tree refers to severely cutting down all its major branches and tree in a straight line. It was once recommended for streetside deciduous trees but has fallen out of practice. Topping leads to many problems, removing so much of the tree that many trees struggle to survive and become much more vulnerable to insects and diseases. Also, it doesn’t really help tree growth as once assumed and often leads to an ugly appearance of many sprouting stems in competition to become new main branches.

DIY home gardening can be relaxing, joyful, and cost-effective. From mowing your lawn to planting your own flower beds, there is a wide variety of gardening tasks that you can do yourself to make your yard look beautiful. If you’d rather spend your time not in the dirt, or if you’d like someone to take care of your plants for you, calling a professional gardening service is best. They can give you a workup of what services you’ll need and how often to schedule them.

White vinegar does not kill ivy on trees because its acetic acid concentration is not high enough to overpower it. Vinegar is an effective herbicide for weeds and other plants, but not for the strength of most ivies, including poison ivy and English ivy. You should use an herbicide to kill ivy, such as one with glyphosate, imazapyr, or triclopyr.

You can hire a professional arborist or tree removal service to cut down a tree to ensure safety, prevent property damage, and comply with all the local regulations. It’s highly advisable to always hire a professional, as tree removal can be extremely dangerous, especially for large or damaged trees. Certified arborists or tree removal experts have the proper equipment, training, and insurance to do the job safely and efficiently. They can also handle cleanup, stump removal, and obtaining the necessary permits.
