"Affordable tree service did an outstanding job trimming several trees in our yard last week. Their estimate was very fair, they arrived early (unheard of!), and cleaned-up thoroughly afterward. While they were there I asked them to do a number of additional limbs, which they did at reasonable additional cost. Very professional and I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

"Jeffrey Bryant and his crew did an excellent job of cutting and removing a fallen tree from Hurricane Sally. They offered a good price for their service, showed up the same afternoon and after only 3 1/2 hours had completed the removal of the tree They also did an awesome job cleaning up the area after they were done. I recommend them very highly and would definitely hire them again for other tree work. Thank you guys. Very friendly crew."

"The working team headed by the owner, Christopher, did a very good job in removing big trees on my property. We were satisfied on how they carried out the system in doing it; both for the safety of the property and of the workers, too. They tirelessly worked; rain or shine and finished the job in 2 days! Amazing workforce! Highly recommended!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Most experts recommend removing a tree that has sustained more than 25% loss in the limbs, trunk, or circumference of the bark. Doing an initial trimming of damaged and dangling branches, but then waiting a few days of monitoring to decide how much more you might need to cut can help you better assess the total damage to the tree. However, consulting a tree maintenance pro to make this determination the best course of action before removing a tree.

DIY is risky and not recommended for large trees; professional services ensure safe removal and proper disposal.

Trees aren't big fans of moving, and they do go into shock during a transplant. Although most carefully thought-out tree transplants see the tree recover from the shock just fine, there is always a risk of having an unsuccessful move. Proper preparation, timing, and diligent aftercare are crucial to minimize the risks when transplanting a tree.

Unless it’s dead or dangerous, think twice about cutting down a tree in your yard. They’re good for health, well-being, wildlife, and the environment. Plus, local authorities often have regulations prohibiting the removal of trees, especially protected species or individual trees with historical value.

Any tree that needs to be pruned should be pruned to remove dead branches at least once a year. You may need to prune far more often if you’re trying to maintain a certain shape or to save a tree that suddenly becomes infected.
