Wakulla's Finest

I hired John and Will to remove an old chain-link fence and build a classic dog-eared picket privacy fence. John was eager to get started and showed steady daily progress once the bid was accepted. He was responsive and addressed all my concerns along the way. Will, his right-hand man, brought creative solutions to the table, repurposing materials and applying clever engineering to save time and money. I’d hire them again for similar projects and would recommend them to others. Great value for the price.

I asked about two weeks ago if they could take down a section of my fence. Of course they replied. When I called needing it down to get my new shed through the gate, they were too busy. They originally said they could have it down 30 minutes before my shed arrived. Not dependable

John was friendly and very thorough through my fence repair job. He made sure I was satisfied with the work he completed and explained any questions I asked him. Thank you.

We hired them at first for a small project repairing two doors to our pool enclosure (damaged in last year's storm). They did such a good job, promptly, that we then asked them to fix a vintage heart pine house door and screen door. Eventually, they repaired or replaced eight very different doors in our house (which is unusual because it was custom built by an earlier owner). Also, repaired and painted the old wooden stairs from the house to the pool house. For years we have been frustrated by these doors, and have had a succession of people who "fixed" something, or half-fixed it, and then left and stopped answering our calls. But "Wakulla's Finest" lived up to their name. They (and in particular William, their chief carpenter) did a superb, professional job---or rather, eight different superb professional jobs. Plus, they are just nice guys.

There was a mistake in the initial job but was quickly corrected. The company did a good job and I would recommend them in the future.
