"All Around Handyman did a great job reinstalling my bathroom sink which had become detached from the vanity. The sink was mounted on the underside of the vanity. All Around Handyman was great with communication, showed up when they said they would, and the technician was courteous and professional. We felt the price was fair and were relieved that they could respond so quickly, as we needed the work done before receiving out of town guests for Thanksgiving. We have already scheduled another job with them. We highly recommend All Around Handyman Home Services."

"I'm writing this review for the excellent work they did on to home projects. I started off with wanting my 1960 bathroom remodeled and started looking for a company that would do a good job and want I wanted. I had 10 different local companies come out to give me a bid on the job. The job consist of taking out a sliding glass door with block and a window and filing in the garden tub floor to be level with the floor. Replacing the drop ceiling with real drywall, ceiling fan vent , and lights on ceiling and sunken shower. And then all new walls, floor and all new fixtures. Because of the sunken tub and sliding glass door and the extent on demo of 1960 bathroom. Not one single company except Finest Builders would take on the demo. NOT ONE! Yes, all of the companies could do the job at a higher price than Finest Builders but they would not touch the sliding glass door and sunken tub. Only Jonathan Bourassa the owner of Finest Builder would take on the job. Jonathan came to my house and was very professional and polite. He looked at the job and said he could do the job. The price was real good also. Just imagine! They could do everything I wanted at a good price. HEAVEN! Jonathan shower up with his employee Steve and started the demo. I was really hard work because the walls were 9'' of concrete and plaster. I was really impressed with the demo work. Jonathan does all his own work with Steve so they are the only people you work with. No other side contractors. After the bathroom was gutted the bathroom sliding door was replaced with block and a window. The garden tub shower was filled in with concrete. Through all the week they worked on the bathroom. Showing up at 0800 until they were done for the day. I always got a email from Jonathan if something stopped him from coming. LOVED THAT! Jonathan even stopped the job because I went to Italy for 10 days. He immediately came to work on the bathroom when I got back. I pretty much left the design of the bathtub shower to Jonathan. Boy was I impressed with the outcome. After all the work they did, my bathroom was now an Oases! Just Beautiful.! Gone were the sliding doors and garden tub/shower, sunken ceiling, old orange tile and outdated cream floor and outdated bathroom cabinet and fixtures. In its place was a bathroom that looked larger, was done in all white tile and white bathroom cabinets and sink and larger soaking tub/shower. Along with all new walls, ceiling and wood flooring. The dedication and quality of work from these to were just outstanding. They were very trustworthy like a family member.. I also had them come back and lay a 13x24 slab of concrete patio the length of my house. Once again for a really good price and fast and clean work. I would recommend Finest Builders for any single female or couple for the job. Top rated work. I wish I could post the pics of the work. IT was wonderful. Thanks, Finest Builders for all the hard work. Will be using you for my next project."

"Jacob, the owner, provide a mound of information on what he could do to repair my doors --one that wouldn't stay closed to the other two not being aligned with the door jams. The price was fair. He exhibited professionalism from start to finish. I was totally impressed when he returned to recheck his workmanship 7+days after the job was completed. I have a list of other handyman jobs for him. Highly recommend Robinsons Repairs and Restorations."

Barndominium Builders questions, answered by experts

Any type of construction that damages a tree’s roots via soil compaction can be dangerous, and is one of the primary causes of mature tree death in residential areas. Simply putting lots of weight on the ground around the tree, like construction supplies, trailers, and equipment, can kill roots near the surface. Of course, installing new foundations, patios, or utility lines can cut through nearby tree roots. Accidentally striking a tree with equipment or supplies is rarely a problem, but can cause damage of its own, too.

Tiny houses, often called tiny homes, need between 100 to 400 square feet, with the most common size being between 200 and 300 square feet. Tiny houses more than 400 square feet venture into apartment-size dwellings and may be considered more of a traditional house than a tiny home. The number of occupants, desired lifestyle, and furniture will all be major factors that determine the desired tiny house size.

Complex plumbing is tricky and expensive in an off-the-ground dwelling like this. By considering options like composting toilets, rainwater collection, and gray-water sinks, you save money and help the environment.

Whether it is better to buy or build a chicken coop depends on your priorities, primarily cost versus time and effort. Building your own chicken coop can be significantly more budget-friendly, often costing about half as much as buying a pre-made one. If you have the time and skills, building a coop from scratch is the most economical option. However, if your time or skills are limited, buying a kit and hiring a handyperson to assemble it can be more cost-effective than hiring a carpenter to build a custom coop from scratch. If you want a perfectly constructed coop without sacrificing your own time and energy, buying one is the easiest choice.

Choose a barn door with an extra two to three inches on either side of the frame. The width of the barn door will depend on the type and placement of your track, but in most cases, an additional inch or two will do the trick.
