"Called one tech who spent five minutes doing on board diagnostics and told me I needed a new dishwasher. The unit was only three years old so I knew that wasn't true. Called Tyson and he started speaking about testing circuits and I knew I had found a true repair man. Came over a few days later and started with the same on board diagnostics as the first guy then got down on the floor with his flashlight in his mouth and his electrical tester in his hand testing all the electrical relays underneath the dishwasher. Just like a real repair man is supposed to do! Finally nailed down what was wrong with my dishwasher. Explained to me what all of my options were and what the pricing would be to order the needed part then set an appointment to come back and finish the job. Dishwasher is working great and I would definitely recommend using Tyson again. Wish I had used him the first time and would have saved the money on the first repairman who turned out to be a complete idiot."

"The actual plumbing work was done well and expeditiously. Nice work. My only misgivings resulted from the related work. They had to open two walls to perform two of the three installations, but when they patched them back up I was told I would just have to give it a lite sanding and repaint. But when I went to finish the wall I had to entirely redo both patch works to make them level causing a two day delay in project completion. Additionally, one of the wall openings resulted in a golf ball sized hole being created on the far side of the wall which was not discovered until days later."

I wish I could give more than an A rating.  Designer Lifestyles is a professional, respectful and extraordinarily helpful group of contractors that I would work with again in a heartbeat! 

 I contacted them through Angie's List and they sent a representative to come and measure for tile in my entryway/kitchen and bathrooms.  The jobs consisted of removal of existing tile, leveling, and installation of new tile.  She gave a very accurate description of how work would progress and gave us the utmost confidence to move forward with them. 

We decided to go with purchasing tile through them as it would be guaranteed, not to mention they had a great selection of tiles.  they were very helpful in the store and pointed us in the right direction for material we would want to use and also answered every question in super knowledgeable manner- none of the nonsense which you get with other places.  After we settled on a tile, we then arranged a date to have them come and do work. 

Jordan was here on the first day to walk me through the process, explaining how it would work and the timeline.  He explained everything, advised when I had questions and had me sign off on everything-so thorough, I couldn't have asked for anything better.  They made amazing progress on day one- removing all tile.  I work from home and they were fairly quiet for what was going on- which greatly surprised me because I have heard it can be quite the process.  Jordan also made me aware that they had to level parts of my floor.  He explained the best way to do this and ensured it would not prolong the job.  There were a few things we had to address with the bill but we had already previously discussed that so it was of no surprise thanks to their expertise and raising these issues before onset of the job.

The next two days passed quickly and without hiccups.  As promised, they were in and out in 3 days!  I was left with beautiful new floors that I am mildly obsessed with. They did a beautiful job and left everything so clean!  I would have hardly noticed they were even here was how clean it was.

I have been burned in the past with contractors when it actually comes down to getting the work done- that was not the case here!  They were in and out in 3 days, super transparent with the whole process and so polite, courteous and clean! I cannot rave enough about how wonderful they were and give them my highest recommendations.  I would definitely use again and again and again!
