We guarantee your satisfaction and we won’t leave until the job is done right. We pride ourselves on the quality work we provide, while delivering great customer service! Check out our services offered and call or click to schedule today. Your $69 service charge includes a courtesy full system inspection. Take the time to write down any questions you may have, before your technician arrives. That way, when they inspect your system, you'll have all your questions answered, including those you may have while you're part of the process.

"Rafael is a top-of-the-line plumber and a gentleman. He provided me with all the information I needed, showing that he knows his stuff. I highly recommend him to everyone. The crew of 4 started the re-piping project within my schedule, led by Matt. Matt and Mike worked the project to its timely and successful completion. The aesthetics are terrific. The drywall smooth finish will be done tomorrow. Even with the additional work of installing a chrome kitchen faucet and repairing a toilet, the cost was several thousand dollars less than anyone else. I highly recommend David Gray Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, and Cooling. Thank you. Robert Johnson"

"This highly the worst experience I ever had in my entire life being a 62 year old person. Roto-Rotor came out to my home, and even before they started working charged my landlord well over $400 to unclog a pipe, the job wasn't completed to say the least. Their senior supervisor James came out on Saturday 09/02/2023 to the property. Before even started he was quoting prices from $495 to $629 for work he hadn't done yet. Once.he received a payment, he work well until after dark without any results to show for it. But, he left a nasty mess in my livingroom and bathroom. He even went in my bedroom to plug up his electric snake device without my permission. Also adding insult to injury he had the poorest of attitudes. Making comments like "you people" making it seem like a clog that he couldn't take care was our fault because we used flushable wipes. He also put the toliet inside my shower, that my two minor grandsons and I use. He walk back and forth from the bathroom and outside tracking raw sewage and dirt in my home. My son, daughter in law, and 10 month granddaughter were at my home to celebrate my daughter's birthday, which passed in March of 2020. Her son's who live with me were traumatized. His snake got stuck so he went outside in the front of the home dugged a hole, then cut a hole in the pipe, went back in the bathroom remove his snake leaving even move raw sewage all over it. Walls, door, vanity, toilet and shower walls inside and out. He complained the entire time, and didn't clean upthe mess he made, or mention it. He had me sign an invoice, but didn't leave me a copy."

"We were taken advantage of from a Jacksonville company when we needed help. DO NOT use this company for any plumbing, cooling or heating needs even if it’s an emergency. Please read the following: We called FENWICK for assistance with our HVAC. During a recent cold snap our HVAC system froze and required immediate attention. A technician arrived and said he couldn’t work on the system until it was defrosted. If it wasn’t frosted that night, he wasn’t sure when he or any other associate could return. He said it would cost $188.00 to defrost the system. For over an hour the associate and I, in freezing temperatures, late in the evening, using hot water from our bathroom tub and our buckets, defrosted the unit. He diagnosed the problem and said we needed a Heat Pump Defroster Sensor. (part number: HH18HA279). The part had to be ordered and would take 5 to 7 days and the part would cost $441.00. Installation could take another 5 to 7 days. FENWICK charged us $89.00 for the service visit and $188.00 to defrost the unit. The part was installed about a week later. While waiting for the part I went to their web site and found that 3 coupons were available but were not offered. We asked the technician why he didn’t offer the coupons to which he replied “that’s up to you”. I took a photo of the part number and found that the part was sold by FACTORY AUTHORIZED PARTS. I found the part on-line for $31.00 and that it was available from Amazon and could be delivered free the next day. The final cost was $490.00 for the installation of a $31.00 part. After questioning the cost, FENWICK offered to waive the $89.00 service fee and offered to honor the coupons we found on-line from their web site. Our final cost was $530.00 ($342.00 plus $188.00) for the service call. Caveat Emptor!"

"Excellent! Timothy and David are excellent carpenters! They were on time and cleaned up at the end of every day. The job was finished within 2 weeks! Tim made a suggestion to extended the decking to our backdoor & patio room to cover the old concrete, making the deck 2 levels, a more cohesive look! We love it! "I would give these folks twenty stars if I could. They were professional, thorough and reasonably priced....most of all they provided a solution for a clogged, compromised sewer pipe that otherwise could have been disastrous. My recently purchased house was built in 1968 and soon after moving in, the drain kept clogging. After jetting the line and an initial de-scaling/cleaning attempt, the video that was taken revealed that my sewer pipe under my slab was severely compromised, fractured and with holes in multiple spots. Other tradespeople I spoke with said that my floor and slab would need to be cut open to dig out the old sewer pipe and replace it with PVC---an ENORMOUS expense and undertaking.I am so glad I called Jax Hydro-Jetters. They were able to re-line the existing sewer pipe with a strong, durable coating without disrupting my home. Problem solved. I can't tell you the peace of mind they brought to me and my husband. It is priceless and I am forever grateful. I would HIGHLY recommend you call them for any clogging disruption you are experiencing in your home. You will be so happy you did."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, the acidic nature of baking soda and vinegar can potentially damage your pipes over time. While baking soda and vinegar can be a good fix for your clogged pipes, you shouldn’t get in the habit of using the mixture regularly. If you’re constantly having clogs, it’s best to call a plumber and find out if there’s something more serious going on with your plumbing.

Even though their jobs sound similar—both professions work on pipes—a plumber and pipefitter actually have very different jobs, and pipefitting isn’t considered plumbing. Pipefitting is done in commercial and industrial buildings and factories, and the pipes carry gas, chemicals, acid, and other potentially hazardous substances. Pipefitters often work in intense conditions while plumbers may work in lower-pressure environments.

While you may have some water, it's best to wait until after the repair is complete to use your home's pipes. For one thing, the water pressure will most likely be greatly reduced, leading to a less-than-intense shower. There's also the risk of contamination from dirt and bacteria that can enter the broken water main pipe. In many cases, a pro will turn off the flow of water from your water main to do the repairs, so showering won’t likely be an option.

The likely culprit is an air lock somewhere in your pipes. This is especially true if the warm water upstairs is accompanied by a decline in water flow. Other causes of this issue include frozen pipes, leaks, damaged supply lines, and more. There’s a simple DIY fix to try for air locks: Turn the hot water and cold water faucets on for a minute, then turn off the cold water and then the hot water. Repeat this process two or three times.

A skilled plumber can thaw frozen pipes, and it’s not a project that homeowners should attempt to do themselves. Plumbers can address frosty pipes by using a heat gun to thaw the affected section. While homeowners can try to DIY fix the solution by using a hair dryer to heat the area, it’s best to hire a professional plumber when dealing with potentially serious plumbing issues.
