Small jobs welcome

"Affordable Marble Restoration provided the most competitive price. In fact, they were so affordable that we had some concern about the work they might perform. They did an absolutely outstanding job! Their owner was very responsive and the crew professional. When more work is needed - we will definitely be calling on Affordable Marble Restoration. Highly recommend."

"The cleaning person washed marble floors with water and vinegar and it left etching areas all over the floor. Wes and his crew saved the day by repairing and polishing the floor. In addition to making the floor look like new, Wes and his crew delivered top-notch customer service and total job satisfaction. Our experience with Great Finishes was extremely positive, and we highly recommend them."

Customers say: True professional

"True professionals and they provide the best possible job. They are polite, trustworthy and easy to work with. Most of the time they did the job (Sanding and polishing of the ivory marbles in my living and dinning room) without me being at property. The outcome was excellent."

Our neighbor recommended calling Mold Restoration Pro, and we are thrilled that we followed their advice. They did an excellent job, and our kitchen now looks brand new! Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can remove an undermount sink from granite countertops. However, it’s safest to hire a granite pro to take on this job. Your pro might have to make cuts and grind the granite to remove the sink. Plus, if you’re replacing your sink with a larger one, you’ll need your pro to enlarge the existing sink cutout in your granite.

Yes, Corian® and other solid surface materials can be cut with standard woodworking tools, such as a circular saw or a jigsaw. However, it is crucial to use the correct type of blade to avoid damaging the material.

For a circular saw, a tungsten carbide-tipped blade is required; a triple chip grind blade is highly recommended. For a jigsaw, you should use a fine-tooth down-cutting blade. Do not use blades designed for cutting wood, as they can cause microfractures that weaken the edges of the countertop. A diamond blade is also unnecessary, as those are designed for harder materials like natural stone, which Corian is not.

After cutting, the edge will be rough. It is essential to sand and smooth the cut edge to prevent microfractures, which can eventually compromise the integrity of the countertop.

Yes, stains can often be removed using a poultice paste that draws out the stain. The paste is applied, allowed to dry, and then removed, lifting the stain from the stone.

You can cut granite countertops after installing them, but you need to consider the mess it will make. Dust will be everywhere, and lots of protective gear will be required. On top of that, you will need to measure meticulously to make sure the cuts you make are perfect; otherwise, you’ll be stuck having to replace the entire slab of granite, which is a much bigger job.

There are a few ways to remove calcium buildup in your pipes, but the most natural option involves vinegar, baking soda, and boiling water. To use this method, pour 1/2 cup of vinegar down the drain you're trying to clear, then follow it up with 1/2 cup of baking soda. Place a rag over the drain to create a light seal and leave it for 30 minutes. Remove the rag, then pour a pot of boiling water into the drain. After the water drains, wipe everything down with a sponge.
