"Roger has some serious equipment that works wonders. He got my Berber carpet cleaner than the big national brand ever did. And his steam equipment made quick work of the project - done in 1/2 an hour. I'm so glad I found him."

Customers say: True professional

"I highly recommend C&J Flooring for any flooring project, large or small. They recently installed luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring in our lanai and exceeded our expectations in every way. From the very first contact, their communication was clear, prompt, and professional, which made the entire process stress‑free. The installation itself was excellent—attention to detail, precise workmanship, and a beautiful finished look that transformed our lanai. The team was friendly, respectful of our home, and took the time to answer all our questions. Pricing was very competitive and transparent, with no hidden fees, and they stayed within the agreed budget. One of the things that stood out most was how thoroughly they cleaned up after the installation. The space was left neat and ready to use, with no debris or dust left behind. If you’re looking for reliable, affordable, and high‑quality flooring installation with great customer service, C&J Flooring is an outstanding choice."

Small jobs welcome

"Giuseppe cleaned and sealed over 800 square feet of tile floor in my kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, and laundry room. He also cleaned and sealed portions of my large walk-in shower that needed it. He arrived on time and was very professional. He removed pieces of furniture that needed to be moved, and returned all furniture when he was finished. I asked him to not move my large rug, china cabinet, or large entertainment center. He did exactly what I asked, and did a wonderful job. My floors and shower look brand new. His prices were very reasonable. My neighbors were so impressed with my floors and Guiseppe's prices that they are planning to use him too. I highly recommend him."

Small jobs welcome

"So glad I hired TS Property Care to clean/seal my grout. Over 10 years, my 500 Sq ft of tile/grout had accumulated a lot of dirt. I had tried to deep clean it myself numerous times, but could never complete the job as it was just too much tile. Tyrell, the owner of the company, came to assess the work. He gave me a very reasonable quote so we set up a day/time for the cleaning. Deshawn was the technician that came. In this day and age, I thought he would have a machine to do the "dirty" work, but instead, he cleaned the tile the old fashioned way -- with cleaning chemicals and good, hard muscle power. It was amazing how clean he was able to get it! The next day, he came back to apply a color seal to the grout. Now my floors look just like they did 10 years ago when they were new! Kudos to Deshawn for his grit and determination in doing this back breaking work. Both he and Tyrell were professional, kind, and polite. I would hire them again in the future and will recommend them to my friends and family."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

Before installing shoe molding, evaluate redoing or refinishing any floors and painting your walls or baseboard before putting on your shoe molding. If you don’t already have baseboard trim, you should install that before adding shoe molding. Shoe molding is the final touch. Additionally, a carpenter or other professional that’s installing shoe molding might also give you a deal on installing crown molding and replacing other trim if you get them done at the same time.

If you have waxed floors or floors with a penetrating stain or oil, you can shine them up with some more wax and a cloth or floor buffer. After cleaning the floor thoroughly, apply wax to the floor in small sections and use a clean, dry cloth or towel to buff it until it shines. You can also use an electric polisher, which is especially handy for large floors.

Yes, options like MDF or polyurethane require less upkeep while maintaining style.

You should strip and wax hardwood floors every six months to two years. The actual length of time between stripping and waxing depends on the wear and tear that the floors see. Stripping and waxing floors can help repair hardwood floor damage and give the room a fresh look.

Yes, but with caution. A floor grinder is intended to level and polish concrete, so it is a very powerful tool. To remove paint, the floor grinder should be set to 35 square feet per minute or less to minimize the pressure without the use of pocket weights. You might need to go over the surface two times to get any paint that has sunk into the concrete’s pores.
