"Andrew Brown from Alarm Protection Group facilitated the installation of our home security system. He was a very helpful and informative, and was not pushy, as with other ADT sales reps. He followed up with us after the system was installed to see if we had any questions or concerns re the system. I highly recommend Andrew to anyone who is interested in a home security system."

"We like their service. We haven't had any problems. They are very good. This was the first time we've had an alarm/security system in our home. The supplier is ADT. I like that I can set my alarm every night before I go to bed."

Whether you want to see who is at your front door, view your cars in the driveway, check in on your puppy, AVS Tech provides you the ability to view from the couch or on any device or computer from anywhere in the world. Security Camera systems are a great deterrent. When a potential intruder sees that you have Security Cameras, they will pass your house for the neighbors’ house. You will have the visual deterrent of having them attached to your home plus the ability to review the recording. Excellent quality video footage can help protect/recover property and put the bad guy in jail by providing law enforcement with the evidence they need. Security Cameras create awareness for employees that the Boss has eyes on them. Not only will Security Cameras increase employee production, they will also protect your business against theft and provide training opportunities. The investment in a Avs Tcss system will pay dividends and provide you the ability to put your head on the pillow each nice for a goodnight of rest.

"They system was installed for the basic, but anything that you wanted needed to be higher upgraded require alot of extra money for every upgrade.
The 36.99 monthly fee was for only if your system is connected to a landline. I didnnt notice that they charge me $44.99 until my 1st month fee. Thats when I was told that they charge $44.99 because the alram was connected to my cable line instead. I was unaware of the different charges. When tec came out he didnt show up to fix the corrected. Had to call the main company for the no show. So they schedule another appointment and offered 2 window alarms to fix the correction but my bill still is $44.99. Default is that since I didnt have extra money to upgrade to the Pulse, you dont know if you turn the alarm to your house properly. I called the 800 number and they cant tell either!

Home Security Systems questions, answered by experts

The cost of home automation averages around $1,000, with most projects falling between $200 and $2,000. The total cost depends on several factors, including the level of automation, brand, system features, home size, and location. For a DIY approach, basic home automation technology can cost between $100 and $500, though the scope and interaction between products may be limited. High-end, all-inclusive systems for larger homes can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $150,000, especially when they include smart appliances like refrigerators and dishwashers that require extensive wiring. Additional costs, such as subscriptions for maintenance services, can also impact the total price. It's often helpful to set a budget and consult with an expert to determine the best options for your home.

Any type of dead bolt lock provides the highest level of safety for a single device. However, it’s also important to determine a lock's grade. Locks can come in either Grade 1, Grade 2, or Grade 3, which indicates how durable it is and if it’s constructed solidly. Safety experts recommend choosing locks based on Grade 1, which offers the highest level of durability.

Keyless locks are great for convenience, letting you unlock doors with a code or your phone so you don't need to carry keys around. They also often come with helpful features like temporary codes for guests. On the downside, they can be more costly up front and do require batteries that will eventually need replacing. If you value ease of use and additional security features, keyless locks are worth the investment.

Depending on your needs and wants, investing in a security door can be well worth the cost. Now that you know the pros and cons, you can decide if it’s a purchase that makes sense for your family. If you’re ready to have one installed in your home, look into security door installers in your area.

Changing the alarm in your wireless security system is a perfectly reasonable DIY task that most people can complete on their own. Simply open the system’s control panel, remove the existing battery, and replace it with a new one. If you’re using a wired system, this may require disconnecting and reconnecting both the positive and negative wires attached to the battery, and you may want to call in a professional to help.
