They did a great job in a challenging location... Arrived as scheduled, did the job as agreed, cleaned up and hauled off all of the mess, including some they didn't make, after they finished. Fair price. We had gotten three estimates. Theirs was the best. NO high pressure sales pitch. Have already been sharing their information with family and co-workers...

Very bitter experience. Workers are fine, but the owner is downright mean.

BLUF: They did not honor their quote and refused to compromise. Sustainable Solutions' responsiveness was top-notch. They are prompt to respond and prompt to provide a quote. I wanted garage door insulation and after receiving the quote asked them to clarify the R-value and the product they use. They responded promptly with R-8 and a picture of Matador garage door insulation kits. I agreed and we set a date. They showed up with Owen-Corining fiberglass insulation kits, which I did not want. I explained that I was quoted Matador and agreed to that. They agreed to order what I thought I was getting and return of the install. They emailed a couple of tie to confirm the date and we were set. Today I get an "UPDATED" quote for $240 more than the original price with the explanation that they made a mistake in quoting me the other material as is is "way" more expensive. I have Google as do you - I checked the prices. The Owens is $80/kit and the Matador is $100/kit. We have two doubles and a single, so we need 3 kits. The real difference is $60, not $240. When I pointed this out, I was informed that they paid $127/kit. I have no idea why a company would pay almost $30 more per kit than the average consumer, but I wanted to compromise, so I agreed to pay $150 more for the install to cover the their additional material expenses. They declined and said they needed the additional $240. Those are the facts - make up your own mind about whether you'd do business with them or not...I will not. UPDATE: Was contacted by the company today and they modified their amended offer to $100 over the first proposal and offered their apologies. So, ultimately they did the right thing but unfortunately it was too late. I have already ordered the Matador kits and will be installing them myself.
