"I appreciated their attention to detail and completed the job requested promptly and throughly. I did not appreciate that the corporation expected the repairman to "sell a package of service" for more extensive work. I had a simple job and he was expected to sell me a package for more extensive work. Understanding that they are liable if an issue they did not address occurs, I believe that they should just refuse jobs that they cannot warrantee. That being said, the prices were a little higher than I expected. Service person was polite and efficient."

"Wadler was excellent to worth with! We needed a washer and dryer installed and most appliance people would not even do it. Wadler responded to my Anji request and was able to come out the next day, on a Saturday! His charge was reasonable and he communicated with us, letting us know when he would be arriving. Service was efficient and done well! Thank you!"

Appliance Sales questions, answered by experts

Most appliance retailers have dedicated installation teams that can tackle the delivery and installation process simultaneously. Unfortunately, just because a retailer sells a specific appliance brand doesn’t mean that its installation technicians are certified by that manufacturer to complete the installation. You could end up with a voided warranty if the installer isn't certified, costing more money down the road. It’s best to find an installer that is certified by your appliance manufacturer, even if it means paying more or dealing with potential scheduling conflicts.

There are a few scenarios when replacing all kitchen appliances simultaneously makes sense, including major renovations, moving into a new home, or purchasing as a set. If you want to refresh your kitchen upon move-in day or start over during a renovation, consider purchasing and replacing your kitchen appliances at once to save on labor costs. Also, if your appliances are all original to the home or are older and require increasing amounts of maintenance and repair, replacing them all at the same time may be a good option.

Costs depend on materials, labor, appliances, and whether electrical or plumbing modifications are required.

You should deep-clean your dishwasher every month for optimal performance. A simple scrub down using a homemade vinegar liquid solution is all you need, but don’t use cleaners that aren’t for dishwashers

If your dishwasher needs repair, expect to spend between $50 and $100 or $100 to $200 per hour to hire a dishwasher repair technician to service your machine.

Treat hard water with water treatment tablets to keep your dishes from getting spotty in between washes. Drop one of these into your dishwasher monthly and run a basic cycle with the machine empty.

No, but you can wash the outside with soapy water. Rinsing the toaster in the sink can damage the electrical components or cause an electric shock when plugged back in. Since it’s hard to tell when the toaster is safe to use after rinsing, it’s best to avoid this cleaning method altogether.
