"Clancy Electric did a great job!! Prompt and professional! They were very thorough, from installation to clean up. My fans and chandeliers look great, so now I'm having them come back to do the bathroom lighting."

"Done with no problems. The second one was delayed because Brad was out of town and didn't return when expected. The missed appointment may have been beyond his control and the result a communication problem between him and his assistant. Because of the delay, he did not charge me for the second install."

"Henry was great. He arrived promptly, explained the work thoroughly, and worked cleanly and efficiently. Even when one of the smart switches I wanted installed didnâ t work, he waited for me to run to the store to pick up a new one. Excellent customer service!"

"Scott did a great job switching out our existing hardware with a new set we purchased. He took careful care of the existing door and frame and left the area spotlessly clean when he finished the job. Would definitely work with Scott again in the future."

Doorbell Installation questions, answered by experts

Through R-value assessments based on climate and existing insulation.

Ductwork should be wrapped in insulation in certain locations. This includes unconditioned interior parts of the home, such as attics, crawl spaces, basement ceilings, and between floors. Duct joints should also be insulated since they're more likely to leak air than other parts of your system. Building codes in some areas also require ductwork to be insulated.

Yes, you can install insulation over ductwork, and doing so can save you money. Without insulation, the HVAC unit must work harder to force warm or cool air around the home, and once the air reaches the vent, it may not be the correct temperature. Insulating HVAC ducts makes your system work more efficiently, saving you money on heating and cooling bills.

The most affordable way to insulate a garage involves choosing cost-effective materials like fiberglass, which comes in batts or rolls and is relatively easy to install. You can often install this type of insulation without needing to add drywall, which helps reduce costs. While a DIY approach might seem cheapest, hiring a professional installer can be highly cost-effective. Experts can accurately determine your garage's specific insulation needs and ensure the best results for your investment, often using batt insulation for the bulk of the project.

When installing board and batten siding, make sure there is wall sheathing and a moisture-resistant barrier installed. Behind that sheathing should be plywood or OSB for you to nail the boards and battens into. If there isn’t plywood or OSB, you can install vertical furring strips at 1½- to 2-foot intervals to nail the boards and battens to.
