"My pool pump and light were not working. I found a few pool companies online and called a few. As usual none showed up all with a story about why they didn't. Finally called Chris at Herndon Pool repairs and More and he called me right back. We worked out a time when he would come by and he showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Could not have been a better experience. I now have a pool company I can call and I know they will show up and do a good job. Call you will not be disapointed."

"This was our first time using this company. Best customer service and very detailed. They provided a quote on Saturday, received and set a date for I stall of our pool heater on Monday. Wednesday the install happened and completed within an hour and a half. I would recommend them for sure and if we need assistance again with our pool we will definitely use this company again! Thank you so much!"

"The company gives accurate estimates of work to do when there is something more than just pool maintenance needed, along with comprehensive reports of what was done, and reasonable costs. "I am very pleased to complete this review for 305 Pool Solutions. After contacting over 9 different companies I decided to choose this company. My husband and I met Oscar to discuss the remodel pool project, and soon after I knew he was the right person for the job. Oscar took the time to explain the entire process of the remodel and offered different choices of tile, diamond-bright colors, and LED lighting. The project began right on schedule and was delayed just a bit due to harsh weather. Oscar came by often to make sure everything was going well. The remodel of the pool included removing a wall of glass blocks and building a concrete wall in the spa area. Also, repairing leaking pipes. 305 Solution took care of everything and I wish I could add pictures to share the before and after pictures you would not believe it is the same pool. I am very picky and had some minor issues, but they were immediately addressed. They were efficient. They did what they said they would do, and it turned out amazing!!! Could not be more satisfied with their work and would highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you, Oscar, and his team, it was a pleasure doing business with you."

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

Yes, they provide full-service inspections, identifying and resolving any potential equipment problems.

Generally, it is more cost-effective and energy-efficient to leave your hot tub on all the time rather than turning it on and off. Reheating a hot tub from a cold temperature consumes a significant amount of energy, so maintaining a constant temperature is usually more economical, especially with frequent use.

For daily or weekly use, it's recommended to keep the water at a constant, reduced temperature, such as between 80 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit, and then increase it to your desired temperature before getting in. If you know you won't be using the hot tub for an extended period, you can lower the temperature to save on energy costs. However, if you use it very infrequently, you can turn it off completely, as long as there is no risk of the water freezing.

Yes, air baths are good for you. They promote relaxation, improve circulation, and can even hydrate your skin. Since they’re gentler than water jets and whirlpools, they are a good choice for a wide range of homes and users, from children to adults. You can maximize the benefits by using them regularly for stress relief and by pairing the bubble effects with calming music, low lighting or chronotherapy, aromatherapy, and other relaxation techniques.

Most hot tubs will experience leaks due to wear and tear in the plumbing or the shell itself. The second most common issue is a heater malfunction due to the ongoing heat stress on moving parts. Finally, clogs happen in hot tub jets, especially when it’s time to change the filter.

A hot tub cover's lifespan is typically between three and seven years, with an average of five to seven years for a well-maintained one. The quality of the cover is a major factor; lower-quality polyester or vinyl soft covers can tear easily with regular use.

To extend the life of your cover, proper maintenance is key. This includes:

  • Keeping the cover clean, dry, and out of the sun. Use a soft cloth and mild dish soap for cleaning.

  • Applying a vinyl protectant spray.

  • Cleaning the underside with a chlorine spray.

  • Using a cover lift to prevent damage from rough handling.

  • Protecting it from harsh weather.

  • Keeping children and pets off the cover.

Investing in a high-quality cover and checking for a warranty at the time of purchase can also contribute to its longevity.
