"H & Y Fence is a horrible company to do business with. On 4/8/21, I signed a contract with H & Y to remove and replace 6 fence panels surrounding a human waste lift station. H & Y wanted half the money upfront, which I paid them. On 6/29/21, their crew finally came and removed 6 four-foot by six-foot fence panels. They were supposed to reinstall them the next day, 6/30/21. Six weeks later, we are still waiting, and community residents have to look at the human waste lift station. H & Y are in breach of contract. When I call them, I am told someone will call me right back. No one ever does."

"Do not hire this company, they are not licensed in the state of FL and the fence they installed failed inspection due to poor quality and code violations. The fence posts were not cemented in the ground the required 2 feet deep so the panels wobbled and there the height was over 6 feet tall on three sides and about a 1 foot gap from bottom of fence to the ground. I had to have it taken out completely and a brand new fence installed b/c no licensed contractor would touch it to try to fix. One of their workers urinated on my fence and the owner of the company stole my gas cans (full of gas). This was all caught on my security cameras so they were fired. Do your homework on contractors before you hire them! The contractor that did my NEW fence was amazing and I should have used them to begin with!"

I have been informed though that the vinyl post should have had wood posts inside them to reinforce them rather than be hollow. In addition it was brought to my attention that no tension wire was installed on the chain link fence. I am not a contractor and had no idea there should have been a tension wire. The lack of tension wire continues to allow for animals to enter my yard. I am a single mom on a budget. I had several estimates and chose Englewood Fencing, which I know now was a mistake. I would advise against using Englewood Fencing."

At Superior Fence & Rail, we work as a professional team to provide our customers with first class customer service and quality fence products. We sell and install vinyl fence and aluminum fence products by ActiveYards, and Superior pressure treated pine wood fencing. Our warranties are the best in the business; we provide a three-year warranty on our fence installations. All of our vinyl fence and aluminum fence products come standard with a lifetime warranty, and our wood fencing comes with a minimum 15 year warranty against termite damage and rot.

"We contracted with Superior Fence & Rail - Sarasota to build our fence, the main reason why we chose them is because they offered to get the fence installed within 6 weeks, it has been 8 weeks now and they just told us that it won't be until the third week of November when perhaps we will get the fence installed. Their excuse is lack of materials but the truth is that we have no idea if this is true or not, they could be building other people's fences if they are bigger or represent more money for them, at the end of the day, they already took our 50% deposit so we ae stuck with them. My husband has tried to reach out to the manager or owner and he is not returning his calls. If they would have been honest with us about not knowing when the materials were coming, we would have contracted any of the other companies that were honest with us upfront about the waiting time. This is not a reliable company, we have no idea when we will get our fence installed."
