"DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY We chose Jack Rabbit based on a recommendation from a friend, expecting professionalism, transparency, and quality service. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations. At the time I was gathering quotes, my husband, a professional engineer was not home. He also wasn’t present during the installation. To ensure clarity, I had Jack Rabbit’s engineer/salesperson speak with him by phone. That conversation quickly turned tense, as the salesperson was dismissive and disrespectful toward my husband’s expertise. It was clear the salesperson was more concerned with defending his ego than engaging in an honest, informed discussion. With temperatures soaring and no AC for a few days, I made a rushed decision to move forward with Jack Rabbit, trusting that they would honor their agreement to match a competitor’s quote not just in price, but in equipment and specifications. That promise was a key reason I chose them. Sadly, what we received did not reflect that commitment. The AC unit installed was not the higher-end model we were led to expect, and the discrepancy only came to light after the fact. I left messages for upper management and the owner, hoping to discuss our disappointment and give the company an opportunity to acknowledge where things went wrong. To date, I have received no return call. That silence speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service and accountability. This experience has left us feeling misled and disappointed. What should have been a straightforward and respectful transaction turned into a frustrating ordeal marked by poor communication, broken promises, and a lack of integrity and money out the window. Now that we’ve paid thousands of dollars, to include a one-year service agreement, I find myself asking: do I even dare have them come back? Can I trust them to do right by us? Sadly, they already have our money, and based on this experience, I have little confidence they’ll stand behind their work. If you’re considering this company, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Reputation means nothing without integrity, and based on my experience, Jack Rabbit does not stand behind their word or their work. Positive Note: The installer Dejour was excellent, so patient and understanding. So professional and took the time to explain things to me, when others from the company wouldn't clarify. "I am beyond pleased. First, anytime I called, they answered the phone, answered my questions and gave me time lines on what would take place. This was Aaron who coordinated from the office. Dave, the owner came out on time and was very professional. He promised a quote by end of day, and that was done. His quote was very fair. We went with Pinellas Generator and Electric (PGE). The work was scheduled and they showed up. Every day on time!! The job took a bit longer than expected due to age of condo. Additional time and resources had to happen. Dave did not adjust the cost, he gave a quote and he stuck by it. Jason and Hunter were extremely professional, and cleaned up after their work every day. They covered furniture and moved household items as needed. They explained what they were going to do every day, and went over completed items at the end of the day. I would give PGE 10 stars on being prompt, professional, honest and responsive. I will absolutely use them again."

Company ads indicate "service 24/7" which is misleading. Yes, you can speak w/ someone at the company, but they can't or won't send a tech 24/7. Our a/c went out Sat evening, 9/16, and they said someone would be out Tues, 9/20. When I said that won't work they scheduled us for the next day, Sunday, between 10a and 2p. Needless to say they didn't show. I called dispatch to see when someone would arrive and was told the tech was delayed on another job. Finally about 5:30p I was told "you're not on the schedule." A wasted day in the heat when I could have called someone else. Our Trane unit (bought from Performance) is less than 8 years old and is maintained only by Performance Air via a service contract. The company is eager for us to replace the unit. When Trane and other brands are properly maintained they typically last much longer than 8 years. The company overcharges on parts, which I've called them out on and had the price reduced (check the records if they'll let you...you have our permission.) Hughes Gulfport FL"

"Butch and Tyler came and installed my Google security cameras and Google doorbell. Then I told them I needed some work done that my 4 point inspection pointed out and they fixed it on the spot. They jumped right on it. Noticed a couple of other things and book I have lights in my garage again. I didn't think that'd happen lol. They always go above and beyond everytime they come by. The replaced my electrical box out too! Hire them. They are very kind and don't want to rip you off they are there to help you out ! I'll hire them again and recommend to anyone who needs anything. They do more than just power and roofing!"
