"Our central air conditioner stopped working on Friday a around 5:30 pm. I called my go-to company (del-air) but they couldn’t come out until Wednesday. I tried getting recommendations from Angi, and while one provider called right away, I missed the call. I called back less than a minute later, but got their vm. No one else reached out until later on Saturday. I did a web search on Saturday morning, and got a company that was willing to come on Sunday…but when they asked if the unit was more than eight years old, and I said yes, they offered to come Saturday evening. I asked why, and they said that since I had an older unit, they didn’t want me to be without air overnight. I asked why it would make a difference...I was going to be without air no matter how old the unit was, they said “that’s just the way we do things.” My wife and I talked and decided they would probably just try to sell us a new unit (based on my research between $6000 and $11,000), so we cancelled the appointment. Later Saturday morning, I texted a friend, and she recommended serviceone. I called, and they first apologized that they wouldn’t be able to come out that day…would the next day (Sunday) be ok, between 11 & 1. I said sure, and thanked them. Their technician came an hour early, was incredibly nice, diagnosed the problem, replaced the breaker and the capacitor, told me the capacitor he installed wasn’t optimum, so was going to come out on Monday to put in a better one, at no extra charge, charged me less than six hundred dollars, and had everything done in 20 minutes. I have no way of knowing if the price he charged was fair, but other than that, this was a perfect experience, and I am grateful."

"Had service star Air & heating replace a 5 ton and 2.5 ton and two air handlers that had gone bad. Louis Ratti told me it would take his crew about 8 hours to completed the job from 9:am to 5pm. The crew got there on time and started to work right away. They were professional, courteous and proficient. There was no guessing to what they had to. They were good I say better than good. By 2:30pm they had both systems up and running and the work area clean and spotless. Not only that, I asked if they would connect my phone to both thermostat and with out hesitation they did it. "The day after we got electricity back on after Hurricane Irma we were welcomed with an air conditioner that would not cool. Prestige arrived a few hours after calling them on a busy Sunday and quickly assessed the problem. By Monday morning comfort had returned. Although I expect every A/C company to show up and say the same thing "It'll cost $9,000 and 4 weeks to fix or we can sell you a new unit." In this case the unit was installed 14 years ago and it was truly time to move on. Prestige gave me a great price on a unit and got it installed right away. The workers were professional and it was obvious they took pride in their work and respected the company and owner. Novation can in clutch. There were able to come out first thing in the morning after I dropped my kids off and school and their prices were a cheaper than most of the other quotes I received. "We had been coughing and did not know the cause, and we decided to have the ductwork cleaned. Angies list recommended this company, and after several estimates, I decided to use Eclair. I was extremely pleased with their competency. They explained exactly the procedure they would use including showing me photos and explaining the cleaning they would be performing on the blower unit. (Our AC system is one of the more complicated units, and I needed information concerning their work in cleaning the unit.) The Eclairs are very professional; they cleaned all the vents and returns inside and the covers; used a high pressure vacuum to blow out the entire duct system;cleaned the blower, coils, wires, drip pan; and installed a new return below the blower so that future cleaning had access to area in unit that had been unaccessible. They arrived on time, and in addition to the exceptional service, they were very pleasant to have in the home. I would highly recommend them. And we are no longer coughing from the very dirty system!!"
