"Forrest is a professional all the way. I would trust and hire him for any job he can do, and maybe some he cannot. Honestly decent from the heart and concerned about his clients. He took time to guide me through a hands-on start-up of the generator he installed. Forrest made sure to clean the area he worked in and was extremely polite."

"This company was very patient with my request being that I was installing a Hot Tub and the delivery date was pushed back and when I rescheduled the installation date, they were very understanding and was happy to accommodate me and rescheduled with no problem. When my Hot Tub finally arrived this company came and wired it with no problem. Very satisfied."

"I had an excellent experience with this electrician for our electrical panel replacement. From start to finish, he was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were comfortable with the work being done. The panel change was completed efficiently, and the quality of the workmanship was outstanding. On top of that, his pricing was very fair, especially considering the level of service and expertise he provided. I will absolutely be calling him for future electrical projects!"

Generator Install questions, answered by experts

A 1,500 square foot home will likely need a 15kW to 20kW generator. When deciding on whole-house generator size, add up the total wattage of the devices that you’d like to continue running during a power outage. That way, you can ensure you purchase a generator that can power your necessary appliances or medical equipment during an electrical emergency.

Costs depend on generator type, labor, and additional wiring or transfer switch requirements.

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.

A portable generator can supply power to selected appliances and circuits in a home, but it's generally not designed to handle the entire household's electrical needs simultaneously. Portable generators have limited wattage capacity, so they are only designed to power essential devices and electronics temporarily until local power is restored. If your power needs outweigh the capabilities of a portable generator, consider installing a whole-home generator instead.

If your home already has a grinder pump and you’re still noticing issues (like frequently clogged toilets and sinks), it could be time to upgrade your grinder pump. Start by checking your existing horsepower. If there are four or fewer people living in your home, using a 1/2-horsepower grinder pump should be sufficient. Larger households should consider investing in a 1-horsepower grinder pump to maximize wastewater removal efforts.
