"I had a small job and was surprised when they reached out on Sunday to schedule the work on Monday. Ray did a great job and I would most definitely hire them again when I am ready to redo the bathroom."

"After having really bad clogged sink & garbage disposal issues over several months I took advantage of a $39 special offered by this company. The service repairman, Chris, came on time, was very friendly and professional. It turned out my clogged sink needed much work. After failed attempts at trying to unclog the drains by indoor methods using several different lengths of snake, he ended up having to go on my roof a couple of times with his tools to finally be able to clear the drains. For awhile, it seemed nothing would work, but Chris expressed his determination and successfully completed the work.  For the first time in a long time, my drains work perfectly. His work time was approximately 2 hours. The total bill, not including the $39 special was 297.40, however, he gave me a $50 credit in place of the $39 so my balance ended up at $247.20. (
One quirk having nothing to do with the work but was a bit perplexing so I'll note it: Each time the office called me to either confirm the appointment or inform me Chris was on the way, the caller ID read 'Federal Express'. I don't pick up calls I don't have business with &/or recognize but  fortunately, I do have an account with FedEx so I picked up only to be surprised that it was the plumbing service. I could have missed the appointment. I reported this to the young lady after each call & suggested she might want to check with their phone company for an answer and resolution.)

"Joshua showed up right on schedule and after an hour of his determination and reassurance (I was a nervous wreck!) He was successful in finding a small crack in the skimmer and a large leak in the main drain. Better yet--when i asked 'how much' he told me it was inclusive with his initial price!! Joshua became my instant hero!! I expected the absolute worst and got the best all the way around!! Better yet we got a 60 day guarantee and a super repair job!! I'm just delighted! They are the absolute most honest team ever and i couldn't be happier that i found them!!! They know they're stuff and Joshua came equipped to find and repair my problem no matter what and he did just that!!! I will never lose their number!! I just can't thank them enough!!"

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can install a sump pump yourself. By following the steps above, you can have a sump pump installed in 24 hours. You will have to use some advanced tools and techniques, so if you feel uneasy about taking it on yourself, it’s best to hire a professional.

A sewage ejector pump is necessary if you have any plumbing fixtures, such as a bathroom, laundry room, or sink, located below the level of your home's main sewer line. Standard plumbing relies on gravity to move wastewater and solid waste to the municipal sewer or septic tank. However, for fixtures located below grade (e.g., in a basement), gravity is not sufficient.

The purpose of a sewage ejector pump is to actively pump this wastewater and solid waste upward into the main sewer line. Without an ejector pump in this situation, wastewater would have no way to exit and would eventually back up, causing a sewage overflow or flooding in your basement. If all of your home's plumbing is on the main floor or higher, gravity can handle the drainage, and an ejector pump is not needed.

Standing water under your house can threaten its structural integrity. If water pools in your crawl space, it can damage the foundation and the structure above ground, causing wood rot, mold, and other problems. If you have a concrete foundation, standing water under your house can also make your foundation slabs crack.

The best basement waterproofing method depends on the specific issue causing the water intrusion. For minor problems, simple solutions like installing a properly functioning gutter system to direct runoff away and grading the soil to slope away from your foundation can be effective.

If you have more significant water problems, the solution will need to be more robust:

  • For standing water on the basement floor, a floor drain or a sump pump system may be the best solution.

  • For water pooling around the foundation, installing an exterior French drain can intercept water before it reaches the basement walls.

Other effective waterproofing methods, which can be used depending on your home's specific needs, climate, and soil type, include sealing the interior walls, landscape alteration, installing interior drainage systems, and using a dehumidification system to control moisture levels.

The type of stormwater drainage system you need depends on your area’s storm severity and frequency. Your property’s location should also be considered, including the surrounding soil type, nearest roads, existing drainage systems, and slopes and hills. Your property’s structure, such as decks, walkways, crawl spaces, and foundation, also affects what drainage system will work the best.
