"PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!! I hired him to rekey 3 doors for $165. After he left I realized he damaged one of the door handles and did not complete the change. I then noticed when trying to fix it that he stole my old locks without my permission. I reached out to him, sent photos, even asked him to tell me how to fix it because I own a rental property and need to rent it out asap. This man who had been harassing me for my business for two days did not respond to my calls or texts. I am not sure if he is racist or looks down on women or if he is just a terrible business owner. I have also noticed that the email on Angi is not the email he gave for payment so it seems he is probably doing terrible work and then using different email addresses when he is banned. I am filing criminal and civil charges against this man and have never done this. It was that bad!!! Please, please, save yourself the headache and do not hire him, I am begging you!"

"Terrible. At first we liked the person who came out (John DeFrietas). Then he contacted us the night before he was to start and told us that he couldn't get the materials. He also said that he was quoted $700 more, but that he would keep us at the same price. We arranged for him to start the first week of May. My husband contacted him twice via text to see if he would be there May 2nd. He responded stating "I'm going to have to withdraw my bid. I can't find a way to do the job at a reasonable amount." When asked what price he could do it at he NEVER responded. VERY unprofessional. I feel that it was too small a job to do and he just didn't care."
