"WARNING: DAN IS THE BIGGEST LIAR, HE WILL PROMISE ANYTHING UNTIL HE GETS THE MONEY. We hired DANN FROM PREFERRED POOL AND PAVERS (PPP) to install a paver driveway and walkways to the front of our house and the backyard. Within a month we started experiencing problems with the installation and the quality of the pavers. 1) The pavers we ordered are called MEGA SMOOTH. We have pictures of the driveway that show how NOT SMOOTH, uneven the pavers were installed; 2) The aggregate in the pavers is popping out causing holes and the pavers are degrading, 3) The pavers are moving and separating causing large gaps, 4) 2 types of pavers, "Mega Smooth" and Mega Stone" were intermixed in the installation. We were told the difference in the pavers was Mega Smooth is a 3 piece paver and Mega Stone is a 2 pc paver. This is not true, the shape/texture is very different. PPP made several unsuccessful attempts to repair the problems. New pavers were ordered to replace defective pavers, but PPP, nor the factory, could communicate what the quality standard is for the pavers to determine which pavers would be replaced from a factory defect. Also, when the first pallet of replacement pavers arrived, it was the wrong color. PPP disappeared after this. Finally, the pavers were never sealed. I BELIEVE IN KARMA AND I KNOW WHAT YOU GIVE ALWAYS COMES BACK. DAN YOU STOLE MY $20000. HERE ARE A FEW OF MANY PICTURES OF WHAT I MENTIONED ABOVE. THESE ARE 2 MONTHS AFTER THE INSTALLATION AND YOU HAVE SEEN THIS FIRST HAND. THEY WOULD BE PERFECT FOR YOUR WEBSITE SO EVERY ONE CAN SEE YOUR HORRIBLE WORK. DAN ENJOY MY $20000 UNTIL KARMA HITS."

"I had Chimney Cricket out for a quote. The workman was very knowledgeable and I was ready for them to perform the work. They entered my home, reviewed the fireplaces, and told me how they would fix them. After that, I called and called. I called the gentleman who came to provide the quote. He couldn't help me. I called the office again and again. They said they would get me a quote. One never arrived. I had another company come out and repair the problems while still waiting for Chimney Cricket to continue the engagement. I finally got a call from the office (after I had had the work done) and she said she was following up on the quote. The quote they had never sent. The workman seemed knowledgeable, but I took the day off and let workmen into my house just so that I would spend time chasing them and STILL never receive a quote. If they cannot even get me quote, what are the chances they would show up to do the repair? Or follow up if something went wrong?"

We went over the job to replace and seal all the pavers around my pool, select the pavers and replace the bottom portion of our pool screen which were 11 years old. The work team of 3 was professional, hardworking, paid attention to detail and very knowlegeable. They arrived on time everyday, worked diligently, left work areas clean, were friendly and always checked to see if I was happy with the work at the end of each day. They did an amazing job and created a beautiful pattern with the pavers recommended by Maria. They charged a fair price. I got 9 quotes and they were in the middle price wise. "We engaged Tropical Outdoor Solutions through our landscape architect for a total renovation of the exterior of our property. In addition to replacing nearly all plantings, our project involved laying new drainage pipes and installing entirely new irrigation and lighting systems. The results were at best disappointing. In many cases, Tropical was unable to obtain prescribed plantings, necessitating unsatisfactory substitutions. Some of these were so small that they stood little chance of surviving, including two trees that looked more like none too healthy saplings. Plantings were unevenly spaced in many places. Failure to level the ground after excavation created uneven turf. Sod was laid blocking two gutter drainage outlets. No irrigation was provided for an area of shrubbery. Metal edging had to be revised several times. Landscaping of a small atrium, part of the original plan, was never done. Tropical told us that the project would take about three weeks; instead, it dragged on for many more. The project lacked adequate supervision and monitoring of the work by senior personnel. Several requested adjustments were either not carried out or ignored completely. The attitude and behavior of some members of the crew were distressingly unprofessional We have spent the last several months trying to correct these problems, necessarily incurring yet more expense and time lost. We entrusted a six-figure job to Tropical Outdoor Solutions but were left with an incomplete and suboptimally executed realization of a carefully designed plan. We certainly would not recommend Tropical Outdoor Solutions for carrying out sizable landscaping projects."

"Christian and his crew have been doing my monthly landscaping for several years. After the hurricanes, my yard was a mess. They got there quickly and were reasonable in pricing. Saltwater was not friendly to a lot of my plants and some of my trees. I got estimates from multiple landscapers but Christian worked with me and did a great job. Now multiple people in the neighborhood hired him to do all of their landscaping. That's the best recommendation one can get!"
