". They arrived on time, did the job quickly. Answered a couple questions I asked about possible future jobs-didn't try to up.sell me. I thought I had located a really wonderful plumber that I could count on in the future. That is until later-this townhouse in FL is not a home I am in very often-our daughter lives there full time-but isnt.Ms Handy. Later I went to do dishes and discovered that the sink has separated from the granite and has a large open gap on the same side where they just replaced the drain. They did NOT cause this problem however they did not bring it to my attention either and my discovery was to late in my visit to do anything about it -so I must return again. They knew I was there to wait on repairmen to fix the house issues (AC and electrician were also coming)-I dont know if they thought I would ask them to fix it and they didn't want to but I can not believe they didn't notice it.

"Mr. Marotta arrived at the time scheduled.  He replaced all the items, however was unable to replace the tub drain because of its age.  There was a possibility of permanent tub damage and I agreed to not have him do the work.  He then replace an outdoor water faucet.  I felt all the work was professionally done and reasonably priced.

"The sales rep and 35 year HVAC technician, Curtis was the best professional I've ever worked with regarding HVAC. I got 4 quotes and I went with Freedom Air because Curtis sold me on the Company. He was 100% honest and upfront. He did a thorough inspection of my ductwork and where everything would go. He even returned prior to install with Freedom's top installer, Richard to go over everything again. The day of the install went flawless. As you could imagine removing both 5 and 3 ton outdoor units and indoor air handlers took time. They added new concrete slabs for the outdoor units and new board tops for the air handlers. They also added the 5inch media filter cabinets with filter. On top of all that, they added a return and zone in the master bedroom. All thermostats installed were communicating and they had to add wiring to the upstairs since the house was installed with the upstairs thermostat located downstairs (big fail on the builders part 15 years ago, but I am not the original owner otherwise I would've demanded they do it right). Even though I got everything top of the line, they were more competitive than the equivalent trane system. I originally thought I'd change my Trane systems with new Tranes but Curtis sold me on Lennox and after doing exhaustive research, I think Lennox is a great reliable brand. The installers, Jason, Josh and Ryan, along with Richard did a phenomenal job. Their master technician Robby (dude is a genius) came out and double checked all the work. Flawless! It's been a week now and the systems are such a noticeable upgrade. The XC25 is so quiet and the air handlers are so quiet I don't even hear them running. All and all, Freedom Air is the best HVAC company I've ever worked with and I'm so happy I spent the year or so researching to get the best! If you live in Brevard County, FL, look no further than Freedom Air and Heat, Inc!"

FAQs for drain pipe installation projects in Cocoa, FL

The regulations around whether drain pipe installers need to hold licenses or certifications differ based on where you live and the type of drain pipe installed. Municipalities have varying rules and regulations about who can and can’t perform plumbing work. However, we recommend hiring a certified plumber to install or modify your drain lines. Licensed plumbers will perform a high-quality, professional installation, which translates to a lower risk of clogs and leaks in the future. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to confirm the license status of your potential plumber before hiring them to install your drain pipe.

The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.

Plumbers will typically take one to two hours to install a new drain pipe, but that timeline can vary based on the area’s accessibility, the drain length, and the type of drain line. Replacing an easily accessible p-trap under a sink could take as little as a half an hour, while replacing a larger section of drain line behind the wall could take as long as three to four hours. When hiring a plumber for your specific installation, ask them to provide an estimated timeline to get a more accurate assessment.

You might need a permit to modify or repair any portion of your plumbing system, including drainage lines, depending on where you live. In some areas, simple replacements of existing drain lines don’t require a permit. We recommend asking your drain pipe installer or your local building department about permitting requirements. In many cases, only certified plumbers can pull plumbing permits, so you’ll usually need to leave the permit application to your professional. The fee for the permit will be passed to you on your project bill, though.

We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.
