"Outstanding. I noticed the other day that my front porch light had dropped out of the recessed receptacle and was hanging by its wires. I quickly contacted several electricians from Angie's list and only heard back from two of them. Both were pleasant and helpful. One could not get to me for about 7-9 days. The other (Phaze Electric) had me on their schedule the next day. Jerome showed up early and quickly assessed what was needed. He obtained the necessary part from Lowe's and was back in a flash to remove the old housing and install the new one. I also used Phaze Electric a couple of years ago to hang ceiling fans on my back porch and they did an excellent job then, too. Phaze Electric will be the company I call in the future for all my electrical needs. I trust them to do a great job at a reasonable price."

"Anthony and Bradley did an amazing job adding a wall and door to my interior office. The job was done in three days and very nicely well constructed. Priced reasonably and many options for payments available. Definitely our ?go to? folks for all things around the house. I highly recommend them!!!"

"David, Tony and Sal were amazing. They were absolutely professional, punctual and had great communication. The work they did was fantastic! I look at the before and after pictures of the bathrooms they did and I can't believe they are even the same rooms! I would most certainly recommend them."

"Hiring Jeff of All Trades to install exterior shutters was the best decision I could have made. I had the intentions of purchasing new exterior plastic shutter which would have cost me almost $1000 plus the install. Jeff offered to build the shutters with wood and install for half the cost. Needless to say the shutters looked like the exact replica of what was being replaced except better quality and I am super satisfied with the work and the job that he has done. He did every single thing he said he would do which is hard to find these days. I definitely plan to bring him back for future projects. You can't go wrong with his services."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

When maintained and repaired when necessary, your whole-house fan can last between 10 and 20 years. Check your warranty when purchasing the unit, as it will typically only cover between 5 and 15 years. Its longevity will also depend on your local climate and how much you use the fan. Having a professional size your fan appropriately for your home size will also help ensure it doesn’t get overworked, which can limit its lifespan.

Yes, a fan can help drywall mud dry faster by improving air circulation and reducing humidity in the room. Drywall mud dries through evaporation, so increasing airflow speeds up this process. However, you should position the fan to blow across the room rather than directly on the wet mud. This helps prevent drying too quickly, which can cause cracking. You should also use a dehumidifier if high humidity is an issue.

To convert a ceiling fan to wireless, you’ll need to install a canopy module to access the lighting and fan controls. Many options are available, all of which help you control specific elements of your ceiling fan, so you have plenty of choices depending on your needs.

The lifespan of an attic fan depends on the type. Passive fans can last 40 to 50 years, while electric and solar models typically last 10 to 15 years. You can extend the life of your fan with regular maintenance, such as cleaning the fan blades and shutters and checking for moisture. For professional service, you can consult a local attic fan installer or have an HVAC technician clean, oil, and inspect the unit for potential issues.

It depends on your budget and cooling needs. Whole-house fans keep your home breezy by pulling in cool air and pushing out hot air. In places with milder climates, they can replace air conditioning. On the other hand, Attic fans focus on keeping your attic cool—not your entire house. Often, whole-house fans cost more than attic fans, with installation ranging from $600 to $3,600.
