"Installation was done in a very professional manner. Installers arrived on time and work was complete within the time frame specified. Original unit was over 20 years old and was ready for replacement and First Coast Climate Control provided best pricing and quality installation. Very satisfied. "I am beyond please with Yandi and his team. I was lucky enough to be at a friend's house visiting when his team was there installing an AC unit for her, I was instantly impressed with there professionalism and politeness. I had been needing to replace my A.C. unit but the prices were ridiculously high and so I decided to give Yandi a call. He immediately gave me options, worked with my income and didn't try to oversell me a unit. Within a week I had a new unit installed. I was able to have the same professional team come to my house and was left with such a pleasant experience. I hands down will recommend this company to anyone I know with no doubts that they will deliver exceptionalism. My house is cool and everything is working great!"

"Job was done quickly and efficiently. Had an old ac unit replaced. Triton came out on a Saturday, when the old unit went out. Travis got it up and running until the new unit came in on Monday, he then returned, removed old and installed the new. Would hire Triton for all future jobs as well. Thank you team Triton!"

"Caleb came out the same day for our residential A/C. He provided excellent professional, friendly service. Spent extra time to troubleshoot and make sure he had identified all the issues, and he talked us through the solutions and options. Followed up a few days later with a text. We'll definitely use Eby again if we need further work."

"John Thompson, estimator for Total Home Roofing, was punctual and a pleasure to work with. He was cordial and answered all inquiries during the initial review of the roofing project. He was quick to respond to all additional questions before and after the quote had been accepted. It took one day to remove the old shingles on both structures. One day for delivery of the new shingles. Half day to install. Only issue was communicating with the workers. The workers did an excellent job, but only communicated in spanish."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

A furnace is a big unit where gas, heating oil, or electricity heats the air. The warmed air is then pushed back out through ducts and vents.

A boiler uses electricity, heating oil, or gas to heat water that is pushed into the room through a radiator. This is one of the oldest and most effective ways to heat a house, but radiators can also be unsightly and leave hot and cold spots in the room.

Heat pumps use a refrigerant to move heat from outside into the house and return it to the room through ducts and vents.

The absence of heating or hot water, unusual noises like banging or gurgling, and visible water leakage are key signs. Abnormal boiler pressure, flame irregularities (for gas boilers), or pilot light issues may also signal trouble. Frequent cycling, soot or staining, and unusual odors, particularly gas-like smells, should not be ignored. Modern boilers often display error codes or lockout mode upon detecting issues. Uneven heating across radiators and rising energy bills without increased usage can further point to problems. Prompt attention to these signs is essential to prevent further damage and ensure safety.

If you're often struggling with radiator issues like chilly spots, leaks, or annoying noises, those are common indications that your radiator may need to be replaced. Corrosion, uneven heating, and persistent hissing sounds are common issues as well. When repairs become a regular chore and your home’s energy bills start to rise, a new radiator will bring the comfort and savings you need.

Some high-quality steam boilers come with 10-year warranties, but a well-installed, properly maintained model can last at least 20 to 25 years. Learning how to clean a boiler, getting an annual professional service, and keeping up with maintenance and repairs on your heating system are all important for getting the most out of your model.

Many HVAC companies offer free quotes and free estimates for repairs and new HVAC systems. Others offer low-cost quotes or apply the cost of the estimates or diagnostics to your final bill if you hire them. Be aware that some companies advertise free HVAC quotes and recoup the costs by charging more for their services. Free HVAC quotes are never truly free—they cost the company time and effort—so be a good customer. Also understand that you may end up paying for free quotes in another way if you don’t hire a reputable company.
