"I sent a request quote to Safe Streets and my phone was ringing within 1 minute. Impressed with the quick responsiveness. They are partnered with ADT which made our choice to get our alarm system through them a no brainer."

"Got tired of the buffering and low battery life with our Ring cameras. Have replaced them all with ADT cameras and the traditional ADT perimeter alarm system. So far – awesome! Should have done this much much sooner. Still figuring out all of the functions and capabilities with the ADT cameras but a massive upgrade."

"This is a highly professional father and daughter team ; Tod and Eve that arrived on time and performed wonderfully. I'm well pleased with the install that was done in a timely manner. The atmosphere created was warm and friendly while they worked. Everything was explained to me with an offer to call or email if I needed any help at any time. Everything was left clean and tidy! I would recommend First Florida Security, LLC"

"The initial verbal exchange with the business owner on the phone made us feel very comfortable and assured that our goals would be accomplished with expertise, They scheduled the installation of our lightning rods very quickly (2 days) after we initially were in touch with them. They arrived within 5 minutes of the anticipated arrival time and completed the installation of the lightning rods on our two houses and one garage in about 6 hours. All of the members of the install team were very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. They were trustworthy, superior professionals, had excellent skills and were respectful of our residence and property. We would definitely highly recommend this company to anyone who is contemplating installing lightning rods on their home or business. Appreciatively, The Starkeys"

The average cost of a home security system is about $700, ranging from $280 to $1,150. Costs to consider include equipment, surveillance fees, and other additional features. Cost factors that determine your system’s price include the type of security system, materials, labor, activation fees, monthly fees, and permits. Additional features and upgrades may include:
Video surveillance monitoring: $40–$65 per month
Smart home locks: $150
Smart home lighting: $15–$90
Smart smoke, fire, and carbon monoxide alarms: $35–$100
Smart thermostat: $130–$500
It’s important to ask an electrician a few questions before you commit to hiring them so you can make an informed decision as a consumer. If you’re getting estimates or considering hiring an electrician, ask them these questions:
Are you a full-time electrician?
Are you bonded, licensed, and insured?
What level of experience do you have as an electrician?
Can you please share three references?
Do you do residential or commercial electrical work?
What kinds of electrical work are you most familiar with?
Will any subcontractors be performing the work?
Are permits and inspections required?
Who is responsible for obtaining permits and inspections?
What is your schedule?
Do you offer a guarantee or warranty on your work?
Will you sign a do-not-exceed clause to keep the job within the budget?
Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.
Yes, a home security system can be worth it for your peace of mind alone, but it can also save you up to 20% on your home insurance. The insurance savings will help defray the initial setup costs and subscription costs over time. Locations with higher crime rates also make home security systems a valuable investment, but it ultimately depends on your personal preferences and asset values.
Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
