We are a small company with 3 full time employees. We specialize in all types of service calls. We do not have a trip charge or service fee, we work strictly by the hour. Additional contact name - James Elliott. Award winning .

"Contracted to replace the outdated plumbing with PEX in my new home. Cost $7000 for a few hundred dollars worth of material and a couple of days worth of work. NUMEROUS problems with the install. -Ran the new lines over AC ductwork without a care to what should have occurred. Had to remove and rework the AC ductwork so the air conditioning wasn't so restricted. - Destroyed the interior of my cabinets under the sinks to run the lines. Never fixed. - Destroyed the drywall running lines. Never fixed. - The water heater hookups look like they were installed by a cross eyed child with no plumbing experience. - Crossed the attic runs numerous times making it difficult to mount correctly and preventing any possibility of upgrading the attic space where the pipes are. - Visible PEX lines running to fixtures instead of using copper stub outs. - Didn't use stub outs of any kind, so the "stub outs" move and flex, instead of being a solid mount. - Refused to insulate the piping because "it wasn't needed" - Didn't clean up any mess. Left piping in the house and attic. Seriously go with ANYONE else."

We provide service for residential and commercial service calls. We work with many owners and realtors who manage rental properties.

"I am not able to locate my review, so here it is again from August 2022. QUOTE The technician showed up on a Tuesday and made a comment to the effect that he did not want to replace the Thermocoupler Sensor. He lit the Pilot Light and asked for his fee and left. After he left, within minutes the burner cycled off and the pilot light went out. I called the office and was told that he would return on Friday. We proceeded to light the Pilot and allow the burner to cycle through heating the water. He did not show up, he stated that he was not informed when he called back on Monday. He scheduled a time to come by on Tuesday. He arrived and stated that he was instructed to change out the Gas Control Valve. It failed to fix the problem he was unsuccessful to get the Pilot Light to light. Worst part was that he managed to break the original valve so that could not be re-installed. He said that he would need to get to the office but will be in touch. So then, we have NO hot water at all and my Grandkids were visiting, so no hot water for their baths. Wednesday we were contacted and were told that we would need a new water heater for an estimated cost of $1,800.00 and they would not continue in any way to attempt fixing the water heater. We told them to leave our house. We then contacted Okaloosa Gas District, who sent a technician out the same day. The technician came in and checked the water heater out. He then, in short order, proceeded to replace the Thermocoupler Sensor, lit the Pilot Light and watched for three cycles of the burner heating the water. The Pilot Light remained lit and they guaranteed that they would return if it failed again. After checking the water heater over, they stated that the unit was in great working order and would not to be replaced anytime soon. Willingham sent me a bill for the unnecessary part after they broke the original, charging me labor for the technician to break the original part and still did not have a working water heater. We will pay the bill just to end relations with them. We will never call them again or recommend them to anyone for anything. The worst thing was that someone in the office instructed the technician, who stated this to us, that the Gas Control Valve was the part requiring replacement without having seen the water heater. 1969 years of experience

Service the Florida Panhandle for over 45 years. Peaden Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical offers exceptional service and products for residential, commercial and institutional customers. We are the professionals you can trust, 25 hours a day, 8 days a week!

"I strongly caution anyone considering Peaden Air Conditioning, Plumbing, and Electrical to explore other options. If I could give a 0 star review, we would. We engaged Peaden for over five different services, and in every instance, the work was plagued with issues requiring multiple technicians to return and correct their own mistakes. In several cases, Peaden was ultimately unable to resolve the problems, forcing us to hire other licensed contractors at our own expense to complete the work properly. Their back office operations are equally disorganized and unprofessional. Peaden consistently failed to adhere to their own agreements, making billing and scheduling unnecessarily difficult. In one instance, they proposed a solution that we accepted, only to later attempt to unilaterally change the terms of the legally binding written agreement when the test results did not align with their expectations. On another occasion, they charged our credit card without authorization for a job that had not yet been completed. Communication was a constant struggle—we had to follow up repeatedly just to obtain basic information, only to be met with unfulfilled promises and a complete lack of accountability. Peaden frequently claims that customer satisfaction is their top priority and assures clients that they will make things right. However, these assurances are meaningless when the company lacks the competence to effectively resolve the very problems they create. Their repeated failures demonstrated an inability to deliver quality service, rendering their promises empty. Furthermore, despite explicitly instructing Peaden that they were no longer permitted on our property, they sent a contractor months after a job was completed to "touch up" paint. Given their history of subpar work, this appeared to be yet another attempt to address deficiencies they had failed to correct the first time—without our consent. Considering the repeated issues, wasted time, and additional expenses incurred due to their incompetence, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Peaden to anyone. A professional company should stand behind its work, honor agreements, and respect customer directives—unfortunately, Peaden has demonstrated the opposite at every turn."

I have been working in the Bay County area for over eight years and I have over 35 years experience as a Handyman. I'm 55 years old and learned my trade from my father. I'm honest, dependable and do quality work. Call me anytime for a free estimate.

"Great! Tim did great work, he came by to ***** the work and gave us a very fair-priced estimate, he even offered helpful tips on other projects we discussed that weren't related to the work we hired him to do. He was very punctual both times he was in the home and very respectful of our request to wear a mask. He was quick to call when a spot opened up, and I really appreciated him thinking of us and fitting us in on short notice. Will definitely hire him again and would recommend him to anyone needing any type of work done."

Water Heaters questions, answered by experts

Electric water heaters do not need an attached vent, but the location of the water heater should allow for roughly 12 inches of clearance around it. This allows cool air to flow around the appliance and allows repair technicians to work on its components safely. The exact amount of clearance space required depends on your local building codes.

The cost to replace a water heater depends on the type you choose (tank versus tankless) and the fuel type. You can expect to pay anywhere from $880 to $1,780 for a one-to-one replacement. If you’re switching from one type or energy source to another, labor costs will rise significantly for the extra amount of work.

You can use multiple tankless water heaters, but that doesn’t mean you should. Adding multiple tankless heaters adds considerable cost to your home in both parts and installation costs. Also, you’re adding many more points of failure in the system, making plumbing issues harder to diagnose. More heaters mean more maintenance, and insurers may want a word regarding the increased risk of water damage. A single, larger unit makes more sense in most situations.

Water expands when heated and also when freezing. When water is heated, it expands by around 4%. For a full water heater, this is one of the main reasons malfunctions occur—the hot water has nowhere else to go but out. Due to the constant expansion and reduction in volume, it’s recommended (required in most places) that an expansion tank be installed.

Flushing biannually, checking the anode rod, and temperature settings maximize equipment lifespan while reducing surprise costs.
