"The technician came out the same day I called. He arrived, as scheduled, between 7 pm and 9pm. There was no additional "after hours" charge. The technician wrote up a quote and I asked him to proceed with replacing the hot water heater. He and another technician arrived the next morning and completed the work. They took care of everything, including the gas line permit and replacing the rotten, wood platform the old heater was on. They cleaned up after themselves and the final bill was exactly what I had been quoted the day before.

"Existing hot water tank began to drip the weekend after Christmas 2014. On Monday morning I call Charlie Kelson after reading the positive reports on Angies List. Charlie responded promptly and although he was working two other jobs in Pensacola, was able to get a new heater and came to our house in Milton promptly that same afternoon.
He changed out the old unit, in a very professional manner, improved the inlet and outlet lines and re-piped the safety vent discharge line to an existing basin rather than onto the floor of the laundry room where the heater is located. Job well done.
He thoroughly cleaned up used materials and removed the old unit for discard (It was over 12 yrs old). Today there are no leaks and the new heater is running great!
I would definitely recommend Charlie Kelson Plumbing and will use him again.
