"Note:  I assisted a family member in their move from MN to FL by coordinating the move and packing up her house in FL.
Took competitive quotes for services and Devries, while not the lowest quote was the most responsive to our specific needs of a delayed move from FL to MN.  Ron Devries came out on schedule to provide a firm estimate for services.  He was punctual, professional and courteous.  All the costs were carefully and fully explained. Once we authorized the move, the movers came and loaded the household goods for local storage in FL pending the move to MN at a later date.  That portion of the move went well. Customers can really help themselves save money by having everything packed and organized if possible the day of the move. The movers arrived on time the day of pick-up to storage.  The crew was professional and courteous working at a fast but careful pace. One item (a glass table top) was broken but the rest of the move went well.  There was no damage to the walls of the house and protective padding was used for all furniture.  The storage phase of the project went well and when I was ready to finish the move, I called and had the charges put on a credit card.  The price of the move from FL to MN was exactly as provided six months prior.  The driver of the moving van contacted the family in MN and the move of items into the new house went well with no damage or other losses.
If we move to another home in the Vero Beach area or relocate.  We will definitely consider DeVries for our move.
Well done!

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Keeping birds away from a porch can involve a combination of strategies. Start with cleaning your porch. Remove food, debris, and plants that may be attracting feathered friends. Afterward, install physical deterrents like netting or spikes. Next, top off your porch with a decoy or two—and owl or hawk works. When wondering how to keep birds off the porch, it is always best to use humane efforts that won't harm winged creatures or the environment.

Woodpeckers may seek out homes with aluminum siding or tin roofs because these surfaces echo their drumming. Homes with wood siding are more frequently targeted as roosting areas or for food sources. If you have insects living in the exposed wood in your home, the birds are likely looking for a snack, in which case your best option is to hire an exterminator.

Signs include visible nests, droppings, frequent loud noises, or structural damage caused by these animals, indicating a need for pest control intervention.

Once the animals and their young are out of the house, remove the nest and locate any entry points. Some may be difficult to find because some animals can fit through very small holes. Once you’ve located as many entry points as possible, use materials such as metal or masonry to block off the entry. Ideally, you should choose materials that most animals cannot chew through. Create a one-way door or flap to allow animals to leave but not return. Additional methods include using repellants designed to make an area unappealing to the types of animals that find your home so inviting.

Costs depend on infestation severity, business size, treatment type, and frequency of service.
