"My wife and I decided to go with Elevate Home Solutions for our bat removal issue. This was before and after we called Truly Nolan to give us a quote and assessment of the work they will be doing. Taylor and Andrew went above and beyond what we expected, and we are grateful to have connected with them out of all the other companies we could have chosen to do this project. They are truly a one stop shop company. They made this â wildâ and unexpected situation simple to deal with. Not only did they remove the bats, Elevate cleaned and deconned all contaminated areas to include a pressure wash and yard management. I was out on this day, and came home to what felt like a new front patio, which is primarily where our wildlife issue was. We trust them, and weâ ll definitely be sending these guys the Batman signal for our next home solution projects. ThanksTaylor and Andrew, hats off fellas!"

"Some squirrels had made nests inside my rental property. Since they don't pay rent, I had them humanely evicted. Chris has a gentle but firm touch when it comes to trapping and removing uninvited critters. He even talked to them reassuringly as they went off to their new homes. You get real value for your dollar. Will hire him again, in a heartbeat."

"They person that came on site was very professional.  He explained what/why hwe was using and the expected results.  He was prompt and courteous.  The results so far met expectations.  I will probably use them on an on-going basis.  They were almost 1/2 of what my previous pest control company was charging.  I was pleased with the service and was grateful to have Angie's list make the connection for me.  "

"This is a great company that charges a fair price. They came and removed a bird from my house on short notice. I called them and they showed up within 2 hours. I would highly recommend this company"

"Taylor was good with getting rid of the squirrels and sealing up the holes but we also hired her to put gutters and fix back porch wood. She hired a sub contractor to fix problem, they did but one week later mold started to appear. Told Taylor and she fixed roof but it is been a month and has not come back to fix the wood like she said. She also threatened to put a lien on property if we did not pay her which we did. Our back porch wood has a lot of mold on it now. Hire her for rodent control but nothing else!!"

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Yes, many professionals offer eco-friendly pest control solutions. These services often use non-toxic and environmentally safe products and integrate green practices to ensure effective pest management with minimal environmental impact.

Woodpeckers usually feed on homes when there is a food source present, and termites are one possible source. However, the presence of woodpeckers doesn’t necessarily mean there are termites. They may also be feeding on more harmless insects like ants or spiders. If woodpeckers seem drawn to one particular part of your home’s siding, it might be worth hiring a termite inspector to check for the presence of these pesky critters.

They can have a deterrent effect on birds to some extent. The reflective surfaces of these objects, such as aluminum foil strips, CDs, or reflective tape, create flashes of light and movement that can startle or confuse birds temporarily. However, some birds can become accustomed to these visual disturbances over time and might adapt their behavior accordingly. For a more sustained solution, combining shiny objects with other deterrent methods shared here is often beneficial for creating a more comprehensive and effective strategy for bird control.

The brown recluse has numerous predators in the wild (or close to your home). They are a valuable part of the ecosystem, too. Their predators often include birds, praying mantis, crickets, chickens, spider wasps, and more. However, the brown recluse spider is a master at hiding, making it much more difficult for predators to hunt them.

Small amounts of geese are actually good for the environment. They help spread seeds and lead to more plant growth, but they’re often an invasive species, particularly Canadian geese. This means a small gaggle can quickly grow into a level that litters your lawn with bald patches and excrement.
