"I want to leave a very positive review for the animal control team I hired. They worked with incredible professionalism, left everything in excellent condition, and I felt very safe throughout the whole process. I 100% recommend them—fast, efficient, and completely trustworthy."

"I recently had Dish TV service installed in my home. Almost immediately I had reception problems. The problem was an 'unwanted guest' in my attic that had a ravenous appetite for coaxial cable. Brian, from Trapper King, came to our rescue. He identified the culprit and very quickly removed it from our home. Brian went out of his way to accommodate us and was able to fully meet our needs. He was extremely polite and very professional. Our family highly recommends Brian and Trapper King."

"My wife and I decided to go with Elevate Home Solutions for our bat removal issue. This was before and after we called Truly Nolan to give us a quote and assessment of the work they will be doing. Taylor and Andrew went above and beyond what we expected, and we are grateful to have connected with them out of all the other companies we could have chosen to do this project. They are truly a one stop shop company. They made this â wildâ and unexpected situation simple to deal with. Not only did they remove the bats, Elevate cleaned and deconned all contaminated areas to include a pressure wash and yard management. I was out on this day, and came home to what felt like a new front patio, which is primarily where our wildlife issue was. We trust them, and weâ ll definitely be sending these guys the Batman signal for our next home solution projects. ThanksTaylor and Andrew, hats off fellas!"

"Some squirrels had made nests inside my rental property. Since they don't pay rent, I had them humanely evicted. Chris has a gentle but firm touch when it comes to trapping and removing uninvited critters. He even talked to them reassuringly as they went off to their new homes. You get real value for your dollar. Will hire him again, in a heartbeat."

"When I made the appointment, I specifically mentioned that I purchased the Angie's List Voucher. I even provided the voucher to the technician as requested. And yet a week later, they send me a bill! And this is the second time they did that! The first time, in April, I sent the bill back and nicely explained how I purchased the voucher through Angie's List and they can't bill me again for a service for which I've already paid! Someone in their office needs to figure out how Angie's list works. Love the pest control service. Hate being billed for a service I already paid for."

"I own a lawn care company and I have a lot of clients. One of them had a bad pocket gopher problem creating mounds all over his horse pasture. I was referred to Nature-Tech from another friend of mine. Chris didn't take long to meet with me, inspect the issue and set me up a game plan. 2 weeks of trapping across 60 acres and the issue is history. He's a great guy to work with, works fast and works honest. I'm sure I'll be calling Nature-Tech again."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

If a wild animal enters your yard, prioritize safety for yourself and the animal. Remember to avoid direct contact and always keep a safe distance. Contact local authorities or a wildlife rehabilitation center if the animal is hurt or in distress. Both sources should be able to guide you on how to proceed and send help if needed. Please wait for the animal to leave naturally for non-threatening situations, as many will. To deter future visits, implement measures like securing trash cans, sealing entry points, and removing potential food sources.

Some birds of prey, like owls, hunt at night. Hawks are diurnal and need good light to see their prey. You could see them circling anytime from dawn to dusk. Species like the common red-tailed hawk are most active in the early morning and late evening when their prey is also typically on the go.

This depends on if their needs are being met. They'll likely return night after night if they have access to food, water, and adequate shelter. If this changes, they’ll look for another roosting spot. This is why bright lights and other dissuading factors often work when removing bats from a property.

Finding a dead bat in your home can be frightening, even during spooky season. The United States Department of Interior states that if you find a dead bat, take these steps:

  • Contact your state wildlife agency to report the finding

  • Photograph the bat safely to help the wildlife agency determine the species

  • Use disposable gloves to place the bat into a plastic bag, making sure to spray with disinfectant and close the bag securely

  • Thoroughly clean your hands and any clothing that came into contact with the bat

If you see one dead bat, you might have a large bat infestation that needs to be treated immediately. Call a local pest control company to properly inspect your home for other bats.

A treatment from a pest control service can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on the type of treatment, what pest it’s treating, and what environment you live in. This is why pest control service companies often offer packages where they come out multiple times a year to apply treatment to the outside or inside of your home.
