"We recently had an unfortunate pin-hole leak in a water pipe in our ceiling which resulted in an insurance claim involving water damaged sheet rock, insulation, tile, and miscellaneous electrical component, removal and replacement of all damaged items to their original state. After removing the water damaged components, the area was "blown dry" for several days to prevent any mold growth.
Ray was asked to evaluate and bid for the restoration evaluation process. He arrived on-time for our estimate appointment and was friendly and professional and very attentive to our needs in his evaluation of our requests. We asked Ray to provide a breakdown of costs involving:
1. Replace ceiling sheet rock and insulation, including recessed lighting fixtures and possible electrical components.
2. Since the kitchen wall was damaged due to the water pipe leak, we asked for a separate estimate to replace our existing sliding glass doors and sliding glass windows with energy efficient double pane fixtures. We stated that this estimate would be outside of the realm of insurance coverage, and would be at our expense.

3. Replace the kitchen wall sheet rock and tile. Prime and paint the ceiling and wall.
4. All phases and estimates would include clean-up costs and final payment would be issued upon my inspection and acceptance of all work done.
Ray provided the detailed estimate on time via email.
We chose another contractor/restoration firm based on the estimates provided and the insurance coverage. If we choose to proceed with our opportunity to remodel, we may still choose Ray for the additional sliding glass door and sliding glass window replacement.
I hope we made the right decision by choosing the lower, insurance based,  replacement estimate!

"This job was an entire home remodel. It included gutting contents of the house and adding a small addition to front of home. Everything (including roof/windows/exterior siding) was replaced. The renovation took 18 months (weather delayed some work) and we are overall very happy with the outcome. Tisdale Construction took care and an interest in all details and were very responsive to any changes that needed to be made to the original plan. All subs were courteous and did good work. Tisdale Construction has also been very good to follow up after completion to make sure all is well and have made arrangements to have any problems corrected promptly."

"Found a spot of water on ceiling of my daughters room and called Jacob's roofing to repair roof. He showed up right away the next morning and took some tar on the roof and put it under a few shingles where the leak was and fixed the problem. He was on the roof approximately five minutes and charged $145 and only used a little bit of tar as far as materials were concerned. The bottom line is 5 minutes of labor and tar equaled $145 which I thought was a little steep although he did fix the problem.
