Welcome to Central West Coast Builders LLC. where we specialize in superior customer service along with turn key build projects that you will be proud of.\nWe have been in the construction industry most of our lives. That's 40 years experience for both Russ and Michael the contractor. 80 years combined experience in all phases of home building and construction. We have the actual experience of doing the work as carpenters and masons to know how to manage and building these beautiful projects. Over the years of working in the construction business we have built and worked on thousands of homes, so we have picked up a few design ideas. \nWe have a strong geological back ground that allows us to build in areas that others can't. Before construction we do deep SBT borings to rule out any unseen sinkhole or raveling soil conditions that are so prevalent all throughout Florida. Most builders do 20' if any at all. \nWe are also able to achieve 190 mph+ wind ratings on many of our builds.

"My client relationship with B&H Specialty Construction commenced when I hired David and his exceptional team for an opulent bathroom remodel following the devastation of Hurricane Ian. After an unfortunate termination of my previous contractor due to exorbitant pricing, I found solace in the expertise and value of B&H. Their cadre of skilled tradesmen exemplifies integrity and time-honored values, qualities for which I am profoundly grateful. From the outset, their work crews have consistently arrived punctually, infused with positive energy while they demonstrated kindness and respect for my property, pets, and family. They adeptly navigated challenges such as deteriorated flooring and termite damage with remarkable professionalism, providing timely, evidence-based solutions while minimizing additional costs. Their superior communication skills have proven invaluable; they consistently present clear, straightforward options, delineating the pros and cons of each. As a woman who has occasionally altered her vision during projects, B&H has managed my requests with exceptional flexibility and understanding. Their unwavering commitment to delivering meticulous craftsmanship is evident, which is why I have entrusted them with numerous projects across multiple properties, including: - Lavish bathroom remodel - Structural foundation stabilization and reconstruction of a pier construction, bayfront Sarasota, FL home - Conversion of a single bathroom into two distinct bathrooms - Comprehensive kitchen demolition and remodel, encompassing exterior wall reframing and siding replacement - Tailored cabinet, countertop, and backsplash design and installation - Installation of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and tile flooring - Bespoke bayfront window design and installation - Interior framing, drywall, painting, and installation of modern baseboards - Custom tongue and groove vaulted ceiling installation - Design and construction of an elegant front porch and steps - Driveway paver design and installation, pool cage, exterior patio, and expanded pool deck - Installation of quality exterior doors - Fireplace renovation - Construction of an interior laundry room from garage space - Comprehensive plumbing replacement - Electrical rewiring - Installation of new rain gutters - French drain system design and implementation, effectively preventing interior water intrusion during Hurricane Helene - Rip-Rap seawall construction and property grading with construction fill I confidently endorse B&H Specialty Construction to my friends, colleagues, and neighbors, assured they will be thoroughly impressed with the service and the substantial value added to their properties by selecting these reputable, local, contractors. "Sentri Homes provided the most professional flooring service I’ve ever had. The LVP installation turned out absolutely beautiful, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was completed without sacrificing quality. The crew was fast, accurate, and extremely detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything was installed cleanly, precisely, and with real craftsmanship. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and far beyond what I expected. I would absolutely recommend Sentri Homes to anyone needing flooring installed."

"I would like to thank Mr. Aviv and his crew, Fernandez Builders for completing my Bathroom and Bedroom renovation. The team is knowledgeable, professional, and exudes quality customer service. Aviv always kept me (the customer) informed including lines of communication. He also assisted me with choosing materials, fixtures, color schemes, and general advise on basis building 101. Most important....the pricing. Even prior to this epidemic, Aviv worked with me with my needs and pricing. This company is for the people. If it wasn't for the pricing, I would still have mold in my bathroom, looking for a decent priced contractor. Thank you Aviv!"

Custom Home Builders questions, answered by experts

It’s typically more cost-effective to move a building along with its accessories than to demolish and rebuild it from scratch. However, that’s only if you can move the accessories without damaging them. However, if you plan to demolish the accessories anyway, it is advisable to do so before the move to save costs.

Yes, you can finance new construction, though the process often requires a different type of loan than one for an existing property. There are several financing options available:

  • Construction-to-Permanent Loan: This is a common option where a single loan covers the building costs and then converts into a traditional mortgage once construction is complete and you move in.

  • Construction Loan (Stand-Alone): This type of loan provides funding only for the duration of the construction project. Once the house is built, you will need to pay the loan in full, typically by securing a separate, standard mortgage.

  • Builder Financing: Some custom homebuilders offer their own financing options, which may only require a down payment to begin the building process.

  • Bridge Loan: This can be a useful short-term loan to fund your new construction while you are in the process of selling your old home.

  • Home Equity Options: If you are building a second home, you might be able to use a home equity line of credit (HELOC) or a cash-out refinance on your current property.

It's also important to be aware that some lenders may have restrictions on financing for DIY house builds, so be sure to verify that you can secure financing before starting your project.

Yes, a home builder or contractor should have the proper licensing and insurance. Licensing requirements vary by state and municipality, but most states mandate that a builder holds at least a general contractor’s license. For specialized work such as plumbing, electrical, roofing, or sewage systems, individual licenses may be required, in which case the builder may subcontract the work. You can use Angi’s state licensing tool to review your local guidelines and confirm a builder's credentials. As you browse professionals, you can also look for the “Angi Certified” badge. This indicates the business meets our certification standards, which include passing a criminal background check, holding applicable state and local licenses, and maintaining an average rating of 3.0 or better.

Local regulations dictate how big an ADU can be, and there may also be restrictions on the percentage of the main residence’s square footage an ADU can have. In most cases, an ADU must be smaller than the main residence, but check with your local building authority to confirm restrictions on ADU size.

Framing is often the most expensive phase of building a house because it’s time-consuming and requires a lot of materials. It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process. Some plots of land sell for $3,000, while others cost upwards of $150,000.
