"After many quotes on this job. I found Stewart from Floor Designs to be was the most professional representative. Stewart arranged for 3 samples to of the carpet to be shipped from Mohawk Carpet so that we could see the color in our home. We had a few companies come to our home to give us quotes and found them to be very high pressure salesmen. Stewart by njo meas was a high pressure salesman. He gave us by far the best prices and was able to schedule my install on the day that we requested. Floor Designs team of installers were also professional, neat and fast. I would recommend Floor Designs and Stewart in particular to anyone who is looking for any type of flooring,"
"We love the look and finish look of the floor. I do however recommend gluing down your floor to give it a more pro feel. Florida doesnâ t have the best surface for floating floors. Spend the extra money and glue engineered floors. I took advice found on the internet and would advise against floating. Too many air pockets. The work was clean and neat. No complaints. They did what they were hired to do. I would hire them again."
"Triple Aâ s is what we give Arthur, Brian and Patricia. Awesome! Amazing! Astounding! For the installation of vinyl plank flooring through out our condo. They were professional, friendly, and informative. Patricia always returned my calls in a timely manner. She also kept us informed as to Arthurâ s arrival. Arthur is not only the owner, but the installer which I feel is a real asset! If you want, awesome, amazing, astounding, professional, friendly and beautiful flooring done in your home, â Best Flooring Tampa Bay Incâ is the company to go with! "I am so happy with the flooring and the two gentlemen who were here, Ed and John were excellent. They checked with me during the install to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. They scribed the flooring so that it fit perfectly around my large fireplace. I would definitely recommend Checkpoint Flooring Solutions and Ed and John to anyone. It was a large job tearing out carpet and other vinyl planking with a lot of furniture to contend with."
"My wife and I finally decided to get rid of our carpet on our stairs, living room, kitchen, pantry, foyer, etc. After researching several flooring company we chose to go with Refloor and we couldn't be more happier with our choice. Jaden came to our home and explained how their whole process worked from start to finish. Jaden was kind, professional, and eager to help get us through the process. We had a pricing issue and spoke to Deon Baldwin and he quickly made us comfortable by accommodating our concerns immediately. Our coordinator Janie also stepped in and accommodated our concerns as well and sealed the deal on our flooring project. Janie called me every morning and every afternoon to assure that my wife and I were happy with the process. We had Brandon, Sean, and Donnie to do our floors and these gentlemen did some amazing work. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the transformation these floors gave our home. Thank you Refloor for a job well done. 5 star work!!!!!"

Berber is the most expensive type of carpet, followed by textured carpet. Berber costs $3 to $20 per square foot, and textured carpet ranges from $1 to $12 per square foot. Berber features fibers arranged in short, thick loops, making it extraordinarily durable. The most expensive carpet material is wool, followed by acrylic, Triexta, and cotton. Wool costs $4 to $20 per square foot and is a beautiful, luxurious, and durable material. Acrylic, Triexta, and cotton range from $2 to $8 per square foot.
Installing carpet padding is mostly a matter of measuring the room and cutting the carpet pad to size with a utility knife. You can save some money on carpet installation costs by doing it yourself. Before installing the carpet padding, you should install the tack strips around the room’s perimeter and prepare the subfloor by cleaning and making any necessary repairs. Then, unroll the carpet pad and cut sections as needed. Staple the carpet pad to the subfloor along the edges, leaving the tack strips exposed.
To prepare a floor for a steam mop, it’s essential to vacuum or sweep the floor thoroughly to remove dirt, dust, pet hair, and other debris. Skipping this step can lead to streaky results and may cause you to simply spread grime instead of removing it. Worse, hard debris can scratch or damage delicate floors like hardwood or laminate. Proper prep helps ensure a truly clean and protected surface.
Costs depend on carpet quality, labor, underlayment, and furniture moving requirements.
Carpet padding costs an average of $510 to purchase and install in a 225-square-foot room. The price can range from as low as $170 to as much as $850, depending on the brand, the thickness, and the labor cost. Although carpet padding will increase the overall cost of carpet installation, it also helps the carpet hold up longer, reduces noise in the room, and provides more insulation.
