"My experience with Advanced Granite Solutions was great from the start. I found them on Angie's List and visited the store soon afterwards. I was able to view the granite slabs and spoke to Matt briefly while I was there. When Matt came to my house to measure my countertops, he remembered my name. I was impressed because there were many customers in the store the day I visited and my appointment was a week later. I received my quote the same day and I also scheduled my install. A few days before the installation date, I decided to add two additional cabinets to my kitchen. I contacted Matt via email and he told me that wasn't a problem and I should contact him when I was ready. I did a month later and my second measure and install date took place rather quickly. "I was in constant contact with them,by phone, before  the installation. I was nervous about what I had chosen and was invited to take my time and go to the showroom to see it on a larger scale. Measuring day and day of installation the crew were prompt, very clean, very professional. Everything was covered during installation and they happily answered any questions I had.  There was a very small problem with one of the countertops fitting correctly. "They are very efficient. I picked out the granite on a Saturday and by Thursday they were installing the countertop. Other granite places were at least two weeks for installation and were more expensive. I even got a free sink. I hired their plumber (Sal) at an additional $250 and it was worth it; he was very nice and knew what we was doing. The granite countertop is beautiful and I recommend Kol's."

I was introduced to Love Tile and Marble through a claim with my home owner's insurance. Kevin and his team were sent out as sub-contractors for the tile repair. The insurance company paired us with a project manager to handle all aspects of the demolition and re-building of our two bathrooms. Long story short - we had a terrible experience with that project manager, and their other sub-contractors (the electrician, plumber, etc). The ONLY positive experience we had through the entire process was with Love Tile and Marble. Their workmanship was superior. They showed professionalism. And just as important, they showed respect for my home. These guys put down canvas to protect my hardwood floors and wiped their boots on the mat before they came in. It may seem like small gestures. But, through the 3 months of hellish renovations and dozens of contractors in and out of my home, the respectful ones stand out. 

After choosing my new floor tile, Kevin made suggestions on the pattern because of the imperfections in the tile (1/3 pattern, as opposed to the 1/2 pattern I originally wanted). I agreed with his suggestion and the floors came out beautifully! We also hired him again for other work, since we were so happy with his previous work. 

Bottom line - Kevin and his team are utterly fantastic. Fair and reasonable prices for top quality workmanship (which I can personally attest - is tough to find these days)."

"At first it went ok. Van's team arrived promptly on the day they were to start and got to work. Work was "completed" approximately two days later; very fast. However, when I arrived home I noticed that the floor was sanded unevenly in some spots, and the original stain was showing through, to the point where there were long pink streaks around the edges of some boards. I immediately called Van, who, to his credit, came out on a Friday evening to inspect his crews' work. I assumed that he would see the imperfections in the floor and make it right, but as soon as he saw the floor, he claimed it was a great job. We then asked if perhaps a shiny top coat would make the floor look better, Van advised against this because "black people like shiny floors". A few minutes later, after he had ignored my wife's queries about how they were going to fix the aforementioned pink streaks, he turned to me and said "Your wife doesn't understand me, let me explain this to you" as if I have some s** engrained knowledge of flooring. His team did come back on Sunday and add a coat of high gloss, which made the floor look much nicer and hid the imperfections, however, when I asked why his team did not sand and refinish under the oven and fridge he claimed I was "asking for too much" despite the fact he had agreed to finish those parts of the floor only nights earlier. I gave up at that point and gave him the check just to be done with it. Good overall work, not very professional.
