"I recently called Viking Pest to re-bait my rodent stations in the garage and outside. When they arrived, they refused to do that and told me that since I have a dog, their company policy no longer allows them to. I had the dog when I started service with them. In fact, 2 months prior to their policy change they sold me 2 outdoor bait stations for $75. So basically, they would like me to spend more money and buy into their Smart Rodent technology instead, as their only option claiming it’s safer. If they were offering it at the same cost then that might be an option but it’s not the case. I called multiple times asking for their service manager to call me as I was upset. Each time customer service would say I’d get a call within 48 hours and never did. I guess since Viking is owned by Anticimex a large corporation, they’ve lost sight of customer service. I am very disappointed with Viking Pest, I would not recommend them. If I could give the no stars I would."

"Hired them for an emergency service to get rid of hornets in the work area at a residence. Construction work had to be shut down because of the problem. They claimed they could get rid of them immediately. They sprayed some poison and it didn't do anything. After they left the hornets would land on the sprayed areas and it didn't bother them. Called the tech back out and this time he claimed he couldn't do anything about the hornets. Same tech - Brian Boone. Charged me $365. And apparently they are using techs which are not licensed by the state. Talked to a few persons on the phone at this company, but no one with any decision making ability will get back to me. Horrible experience all around. Fraudulent business practices."

A sales representative pressured me into signing a one-year contract by stating that he needed to secure one customer that day. Feeling cornered, I agreed to the contract, trusting the sales guy professionalism. However, after the first service, I decided to cancel the service. I was shocked when I was informed that the cancellation fee would be $250, despite having been told initially that the service fee was $100. The customer service agent was rude and he got furious after he heard about cancellation and determined to get 250$ from me. The entire experience has left me feeling deceived and frustrated. I would caution others about the company shady practices and be wary of high-pressure sales tactics. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend GreenPest company and suggest seeking pest control services from a more transparent and customer-friendly provider."
