"We finally found the right contractor! We had 3 projects involving the basement, Master bath and front porch. Martin and his team are very skilled. The work is high quality, efficient and done correctly. Estimates are provided in writing in advance of the job. Martin is often onsite - either doing the work himself or supervising and guiding his team. He communicates well and often and he stands behind his work. We had a small issue in the Master Bath with the painting on the ceiling. He came immediately to inspect it, figured out the issue and had his team redo the ceiling paint. It's now perfect. He is also strategic in making suggestions and giving creative ideas on how to approach the job in ways we had not thought of ourselves. I highly recommend Martin's Home Improvements."

"Jim Lockhart is the best of the best. From the time we were planning our project right through completion, he was the model of precision and professionalism. While Jim owns the business, he also worked on site each and every day. Our project together included a 2nd floor master suite addition, additional bathroom remodel, new roof, siding, windows, and HVAC! Jim was always on time and showed up when he said he was. Once our project started he was there every day consistently and worked incredibly hard each day. He worked with high quality sub-contractors when necessary (roof, electrical, and plumbing) and held them to highest standard and was on site while they worked. While construction was occuring, Jim was careful to keep our house as clean as possible and took extra care to ensure my children were comfortable and safe and their home. Jim even took the time say good morning to our dog each day in an effort to make our whole family comfortable! He cleaned each and every day. He was a master communicator and walked us through each step from start to finish. Jim worked on our home for almost 6 months and he took every detail seriously every day. I would highly recommend Jim for any scale job! You would be hard pressed to find a more skilled or professional contractor!"

"We got three estimates for the job, which were all in the same ball park. Based on their angie's list rating and a good experience of a friend, we picked Fine Painters. From the beginning I really clicked with Vivaldo, our sales guy. He was friendly and easy going. I'm not much of a phone person, so I was very happy that he was so responsive to email (unlike a lot of contractors). The two guys on the crew were great: friendly and professional. They did an amazing job. We can't get over how good the place now looks (much better than the old crappy paint job). "Ronda came to us through our general contractor. She assisted us in selecting our cabinets, counter tops, hardware and tile. She met with us multiple times at our house to work through the cabinet design. And we met with her multiple times at her studio and the tile shop to select our counter top and tile. Always ready to help, she is knowledgeable and has innate design ability. More than that, she can explain her design choices, yet is willing to discuss alternatives and work through the design process in a collaborative manner, bringing many ideas to the table – or kitchen, as it were. She listens to her clients and was able to translate our ideas into a comprehensive design. Throughout the process Ronda worked with our contractor and with us to make certain everything came together as planned. While there were a number of minor snafus, she was always there to make certain issues were resolved and to keep the job moving ahead. Cabinets and counter tops are a significant portion of the remolding cost. Cabinet manufactures are not all that interested in dealing directly with the customer. Rather, they work through their distributors. We purchased our cabinets through Ronda who has a strong working relationship with the manufactures she deals with and can easily work out issues. "To put it simply I will use Joseph Sullivan for any and all painting and dry waling that I ever do in the future. I work with contractors regularly and have never worked with a better contractor. His crew were all extremely professional and sincerely cared about my house and the job they did. They all went above and beyond in all facets of the job. It was a huge job, probably the biggest job he ever did and Joe was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the job. In fact the job is still going on. By the time he is done he will have been 4 months full time and another 2 months on and off as I am finishing up the project. His attention to detail is exemplary. You of course are free to use whomever you wish but if I were you I'd hire Joseph Sullivan Painting it will be the most pain free contractor and painting experience you will ever have."
