"My flower beds were severely neglected. Patrick and his team came in within a week on a 105° day and save my yard! I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! He also reached out the following week saying they would be in my neighborhood and would like to spray again for weeds just in case! Amazing! But wait there’s more!! While spraying one final time for weeds he came across a wasps nest under my deck and guess what, he took care of that too! HIGHLY recommend!!"

"I've been using these brothers "owners" for 3 years now they do such good work that several other of my neighbors use them. They pay attention to detail with grass cutting pattern to trimming and cleaning up the area, they don't play around, they got good work ethic. And are very professional, and their price is very reasonable."

"Responded quickly and gave a fair estimate for the work that was going to be completed and then we accepted the price and they came the same day completed all of the work that was promised. I then asked if he could do a couple extra items while he was there and he didn’t even hesitate to say yes, no problem., continued to knock out those things in record time and quality. I’m very impressed with Jose and his team and they far exceeded my expectations. There is no doubt that if they continue to do this level of commitment they will rise to the top level of their trade and most likely need to hire more crews. Keep up the great work guys and don’t forget us while you rise to new heights! Thank you! Look forward to seeing you soon for more projects."

"Hi, Aaron is very professional, does a wonderful clean job, and explains what he’s doing. He also bet suggestions to make your lawn and flowerbed look spectacular! Aaron has worked on my yard in previous years, and my trying to save a couple of pennies. I allowed someone else to destroy my beautiful grass that he had growing! I am glad he is back!!!!!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Unfortunately, lead dust does not look different from any other type of dust. You cannot detect it with the naked eye. To determine if you have lead dust in your home, you will need to hire a local company to take a sample from the paint and test it for you in a lab.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

While not all homes built before 1978 contain lead paint, enough do, so you’ll still want to test to be on the safe side. The federal government banned lead-based paint for homes in 1978, but your state may have banned lead before that time. Around 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1977 contained lead-based paint, while 87% of homes built before 1940 contained lead-based paint.

Chlorine has a shelf life of between six months and several years, depending on its type and formulation. Liquid chlorine can often lose its effectiveness in just a few weeks. Pool owners can find themselves with overstock that they need to get rid of. The best way to dispose of excess chlorine is to take it to a hazardous waste collection site and let the pros handle it.
