"I had an amazing experience with TJ's Tree Service company that went above and beyond. They were professional, efficient, and skilled in clearing many trees for us in Canton. They arrived prepared, worked safely, and left the area clean. The team communicated well and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend them for any tree-related services. "Phones call was returned quickly and an appointment was set up to provide a quote . Appointment was delayed but was communicated that someone would still be arriving. Impressed that Casey arrived and wore a mask while inspecting the 12 trees I wanted removed. He provided a quote and gave me a possible date of service. I requested a service date two weeks after and he said that date was available. He explained how and what would occur and it would take 2 days to cut the 12 trees. On the day of my appointment, Casey and the crew arrived and immediately set up the equipment and started to work. My neighbor was so impressed with Lazer Scapes that he hired them to cut one of his trees that bordered my property. Within 1.5 days, Lazer Scapes had cut a total of 13 trees and cleaned up the yard of all the debris from cutting these trees. Lazer Scapes speed and efficiency was top notch and did not disappoint. I have already referred them to 3 of my friends. Thank you Casey, Tyler and crew for an exceptional job that was well done."

"Dan and his team have been performing tree cutting and yard clean-up work at our house every year since 2020. He is very responsive, work is done as expected and the yard is clean after he is done. We plan to hire him again this spring."

"If I could give this company 10 stars I would. Wow. There is so much to say about this wonderful company. They came out the next day. Were prompt courteous and completed the job the same day. The workers were like machines. I have never been so impressed at a tree company before. They were very reasonably priced as well. In 30 years of hiring contractors this was the gold standard of companies. They were neat, did a FABULOUS job. Cut down two trees in two hours. Cleaned up afterwards and my yard looked amazing. I highly recommend this professional company. I will for sure hire them again and again. Great Job!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Pruning is an effective way to prevent a diseased branch from infecting the rest of the tree. If the infection isn’t caught early enough and the pathogen has spread to the trunk or the majority of the branches though, it is too late to prune off the affected areas and you’ll likely need to remove the tree.

No. Most of the time, suckers are only a sign that the tree is experiencing stress. However, they can also be the canary in the coal mine, letting you know that something else is stressing your tree. If you have lots of suckers on your tree, calling in an arborist or a tree care expert is always a good call to determine the cause and develop a solution that de-stresses your tree.

You’ll have to balance up the cost, the value of the tree (sentimental or otherwise), and the risk factors. An experienced arborist will help you understand whether transplanting is likely to be successful. The cost and hassle of transplanting a large, well-established tree are often not worth it, especially if the species is fast-growing and easy to source. The decision depends on the age and species of the tree, the conditions in the new site location, and how careful the company is when digging out and moving the tree.

Talking with a septic pro before planting trees near your tank is best to ensure the roots won’t interfere with your septic system. However, there is an easy way to figure out where to plant a tree—but you’ll need to know how tall it can get when it’s fully grown. For instance, if the tree can reach 50 feet, plant it at least 50 feet from your septic system.

The ideal time to prune a tree depends on the type of tree. Typically, late winter or early spring is a good time to prune but isn't always the case for "towering trees." It's best to trim when trees are dormant and before blooms appear but can vary depending on the tree type. It's always best to research the type of tree or ask a professional tree trimmer to determine when is the perfect time to prune your tree.
