I talked to Brian Friday afternoon and explained that I wanted to surprise my husband to get rid of a big ugly tree stump in front of our house.. I asked if he could do it the next day and he said he was going to try. Brian showed up Saturday midday and took care of the stump and a lot of long roots. He did a great job. I would call him again and definitely recommend him to all my friends.

Great to work with! Returns calls almost immediately. I called him on a Wednesday, the same day he came by and gave us a quote, and by Saturday, the stump was ground out! Cannot recommend him enough. Great prices as well!

Bryan is fantastic and my new go to guy for stump grinding. Easy to talk to, courteous and professional. Big red oak and medium maples in some challenging spots. Quote process was seamless, he showed up when he said he would and worked hard until the job was finished. Also very safety minded and cleaned up nicely when finished. He is the only one I will call next time.

Brian of Sergeant Major Stump Grinding was excellent. I've left a long-detailed review - but I can sum it up here in 3 lines: 1) Easy to work with and professional  2) Great competitive prices / quotes. 3) Did exactly what I asked for and left the site looking better than it did. He is an upbeat guy, who was willing to come out and quote my project on the weekend. He asked if I could text him detailed photos of the stumps, which I did. Based on the pics that I texted him; he was able to quote me via text. This eliminated two trips out to my house, and enabled this project to happen very quickly - which I greatly appreciate! His quote was extremely reasonable, so I agreed to his quote, and he came out at our agreed upon time on Sunday. He was right on time. His equipment was extremely clean, and his safety protocols were excellent - which I appreciated. His stump grinder wasn't that loud, and my wife was able to meet with friends inside the house the entire time that Brian ground the two stumps. His work was extremely neat as well. He asked me where I wanted the wood chip piles from the stumps and I told him where I wanted them. He filled the stump holes and had very neat piles of wood chips for me. He also used a blower and left the job site cleaner than it looked before he got there. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Thank you! Karl Lund
