Extremely Upset with Phil's. I needed a 2nd keyfob for my car. The local dealer was out of stock and Phil's was just a little bit more expensive. Yes, the dealer was cheaper than Phil's. Immediately after Phil's programed the new keyfob my airbag warning light came on. I figured it would just turn off but it did not. Phil's swore up and down that this light had nothing to do with the programming of the key. Gee, What a coincidence .... Keep in mind that when a key is programmed they interface to your car's dataport. He then kept turning the ignition key back and forth. So they basically connect directly to your car. I ended up going to the dealer and they checked the bogus alert and reset the alarm. It's been a 2 months now and everything is fine. I never had a problem with this up to the moment Phils programmed the key and once reset I never had a problem since. My advice to anyone who needs a key programmed. DO NOT go to Phil's or any other locksmith to have this service performed. If this happens to you, the locksmith will lie, deny and blow smoke in order to deflect responsibility. I thought it was strange that the kid insisted, "just wait inside." Why? What didn't you want me to see? If this was performed at the dealer they would have immediately addressed this or it probably would not have happened at all. As a result of Phil's shenanigans I incurred an additional $80.00 charge from the dealer. So you have been warned. DO NOT have Phil's or any other locksmith perform key programming for your auto. If you are the unlucky one that this happens to you will be paying an extra charge and having to deal with aggravation. You've been warned. Shame on you Phil !!!

Gabriel was amazing. He was right on time & went over all my options before any work began. Pricing was fair & the work was done very quickly. Only thing, they should tell the customer that there is a 3% fee for using a credit card. Other than that everything was wonderful.

very good, They did what they could, but there was a leak in he AC system an needed to be replaced entirely. That explained why the AC was not blowing out cold air. I didn't have the money to get a new AC system so I had them put in the FREON until i could afford to get a new AC. Not sure of the service date

He worked well around my grandkids who were running around....2 doors each needed a new deadbolt and 2 doors each needed new knob and deadbolt. All locks have same key and he gave me 4 sets of keys. Service call fee was low but cost of deadbolt and knobs a little pricey I thought. But workmanship and speed of getting it all done was excellent....so overall worth it

I did not realize that the 'deal' from Angie was ONLY the cost of them coming to the location...NOT the cost of doing the job! Angie's $29.00 deal + $87 for the actual job

"I called Alarm New England after we accidently set off our alarm system and received and "FC," or failed communication, message on the main control panel. We had changed our phone service provider a few months earlier and I did call to notify Alarm New England at the time of the phone change, but the customer service representative never recommended to me I check communication of my system with their central station.
<br /> When I called after setting off the alarm, I was told I could have had the phone service provider call Alarm New England while they were installing my new system to be walked through the steps of connecting my alarm system with the central station, but now I would have to pay $90 for the first half an hour to have an alarm technician come to my house. It would be $20 for each additional 15 minutes. After complaining that I had been paying for a monthly monitoring service for several months when my system was not communicating with the central station, I was told that the failed communication must have happened just recently because Alarm New England checks communication with all their customers on a weekly basis and notifys them of failed communication. Since my alarm had gone off on accident more than a week prior to my phone call to the company, I questioned this service. Then it was determined since I was a former HB Alarm customer (Alarm New England acquired HB Alarm last fall), I did not have this weekly communication test. I was told my system was capable of communicating with the central station on a weekly basis, but a technician had to come to my house to do something to my system to make it happen. It would have made sense for Alarm New England to contact all former HB Alarm customers and requested they schedule a service call to have their system communication tested on a weekly basis, if they truly were concerned about their newly acquired customers, but I never received such communication. Alarm New England did agreed to waive the service call fee and said the service technician would do something to make my system communicate on a weekly basis with Alarm New England.
<br /> The service technician arrived 15 minutes early for the scheduled service call, which was very much appreciated since I had to go to work. After changing my system to dial the area code in order to communicate with the central station, doing whatever he needed to do to have my system be checked weekly for communication with the central station and making a test call, it was determined that my system was broken and had possibly been struck by lightning in the storms on July 2012. I was told I would receive a phone call from a sales representative about getting a new main control panel. It was four days before I received a call from a sales representative and then a week after the service call, I received an invoice for the service call for $110, after I was told I would not be charged for the service call. On the invoice, it tells me to test my system monthly, but since I do not receive a bill each month, rather my credit card is simply charged, this is the first time I have received this recommendation. I have been a customer of HB Alarm, now Alarm New England, since 2004 and I will be cancelling my monthly monitoring service. Their monitoring service has been reasonable, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

"I worked with a guy named Drew. He returned my call first thing in the morning and was able to come out within 45 minutes. Not only did he put the new lock on, which required drilling a new hole through the door and shifting the latch lower, he also went over how to put the codes in and use the lock. He was very friendly and knowledgeable with what he was doing. I'd recommend them again. It cost me $65 for him to drive out to the next town and $75 for the installation. $10 cheaper than the locksmith tat was down the street from me.
